Exciting news! Baoshu‘s work “Three Tastings of the Delicacy” has officially been published in both English and Japanese.
The Japanese edition『美食三品』was featured in the Tokyo Sogensha’s magazine『纸鱼の手帖』(Bookworm's Note Vol. 21), beautifully translated by the renowned Japanese author and translator 立原透耶 Touya Tachihara .🥰
Meanwhile, the English version “Three Tastings of the Delicacy” was published in the SFRA Review, thanks to the brilliant translation by Xueting C. Ni, a celebrated British-Chinese author, editor, and translator.🥰
The original Chinese version debuted in the 13th issue of Galasy’s Edge(《银河边缘》), a collaboration between 8LM and New Star Press, and was nominated for the 2024 Hugo Award for Best Short Story. We also later released a collection of Baoshu’s works, named after this very story.
