The company is founded and owned by James Sweetlove of Cave Dweller Music. James understands that there are those with negative sentiments in the music community regarding PR companies due to cases of clients being overcharged or businesses overpromising and underdelivering. Given this fact, we have chosen to place honesty, integrity and reliability at the forefront of our business model . We will

never take on a client that we don’t believe we can help and will never promise anything that we cannot deliver. This is why we will never take up front payment for services prior to deciding if music is a good fit for our business. Our goal is solely to help underground and alternative musicians reach as large an audience as possible and we will do everything within our means to make that happen.

I'm extremely pleased to announce that Shred Storm PR will be working with Nothing Is Real to promote their upcoming album Acts Of Despair And Faith, out April 11th.

Nothing is Real returns with a monolithic offering of progressive psychedelic doom/black/sludge metal. This is a chronicle of humanity's capacity for cruelty, cowardice, and fear, as well as its endless capacity for love, understanding, and evolution.

The album sees NIR incorporate experimental noise rock influences in the vein of Slint and Unwound, weaving them into complex progressive and technical metal song structures and atmosphere.

This is warped, twisted black metal with an excessive use of odd time signatures and elements of groove. Written in a transitional period with limited gear and resources, this is an example of using whatever tools are at hand to directly transmit the emotions of daily life, which in this case were fear, uncertainty, horror, and undying resolve.

This is a hauntingly atmospheric release that captures the best of black metal and dungeon synth while seamlessly blending both. It draws on a depth of fantasy based gnome lore, while tying in very real concepts of philosophy, politics, ideological conflict and faction based purges.
