A quick look at DOC industry around the world.

SIFF results have been revealed!

Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) was successfully closed on June 23rd. The prestigeous Golden Goblet Award winners have been announced, and the Best Documentary went to MS. HU'S GARDEN (China) directed by PAN Zhiqi

This is a story about love and redemption. Ms. Hu, who lives in Shi Ba Ti, built a flowery garden with a pile of garbage. She hopes to redeem herself and her son suffering from depression in this way.

The first stop of the Echoes from the East overseas screening series of the Golden Kapok Screening successfully held screenings of Four Springs and We Were Smart on May 28 and June 3 at the University of Oxford China Centre.🥰

This screening event garnered widespread attention at the University of Oxford and was a great success. We look forward to the Echoes from the East overseas screening series bringing the charm of Chinese culture to more international audiences!

The Chinese project【Always】directed by Demin CHEN won Alphapanda Award. The director also presented at the GZDOC pitching in the past. Big Congrats again and look forward to seeing the final production!

Last year, "Always" was also selected as one of the Top Ten Pitches in the 'China Stories' International Pitching Session at the 20th Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival, China.
