Two years ago, I started learning a new skill without knowing where it would take me.

I wasn’t an expert.

I didn’t have a huge following.

And there were many days when it felt like nothing was happening.

Then life changed.

I lost my job.

And suddenly, the skills I’d been quietly building on the side became options I didn’t know I was going to need.

That’s probably the biggest thing these two years have taught me:

You don’t always know why you’re being called to learn something today.

Sometimes the opportunity only makes sense later.

So if you’re starting from zero, don’t worry about having the entire journey figured out.

Start.

Learn.

Make mistakes.

Get 1% better.

And keep showing up.

As my journey grows, I realised something beautiful… my community is growing with me too. 💛

This morning, I was going through my materials for tomorrow’s Claude AI Accelerator workshop, testing the workflows and thinking about how I can make everything even simpler for the people joining me.

And I realised something.

The more I learn about AI, the more I realise there is still so much to explore.

I didn’t start because I knew everything.

I started because I was curious.

Then I practised.

I made mistakes.

I tried again.

And slowly, the things that once felt “too technical” started becoming part of how I work every day.

That’s also what I want the busy professionals joining me to experience.

Not another class filled with complicated AI terminology.

But practical ways to use Claude AI to:

✨ Write and respond to emails faster
✨ Research and organise information
✨ Reduce repetitive work
✨ Create your own workflows and systems
✨ Free up more time for the work that really matters

You don’t have to become an AI expert overnight.

Just learn one thing.
Apply one thing.
Become 1% better than yesterday.

My grandfather's generation didn't know if this would work.

I wrote a song for Singapore's 61st birthday — 《我们的家》, Our Home. It's about
something simple: this isn't just a successful city. It's the home three generations
built with their hands.

没有人说　一定会赢
我们只是　选择相信

Then I made a 4-minute music video for it. No film crew. No camera. No archive
footage — every frame generated with AI, from a 1965 kampong to Marina Bay.

The technology was the easy part. Getting each shot to land on the right lyric took
eight rebuilds.

This is what I’ve been working on behind the scenes…

Using my AI video creation agent to create a special video and song inspired by Singapore’s journey since independence.

From where we started…
to the Singapore we know today.

What amazes me most is how AI can help turn an idea in your head into something you can actually see, hear and share.

You still need the story.
You still need the emotion.
You still need the vision.

But AI can help you bring it to life much faster.

That’s the beauty of AI. 💛

Not replacing creativity—
but helping us create things we may never have thought possible before.

And this project is especially meaningful to me because it is a way to remember how far Singapore has come. 🇸🇬
