Did the laws of physics just make Ferrari copy a Nissan? 🔋👀

​The internet is already deeply divided over the freshly unveiled 2026 Ferrari Luce. Beyond being Ferrari’s historic first-ever full EV, people are losing it over the shell-like silhouette, which looks wildly reminiscent of the new 2026 Nissan Leaf - even down to the choice of the launch blue.

​It really shows what happens when engineers across the entire industry are forced to optimize for the exact same wind-tunnel efficiency. When you design a car strictly for the lowest drag coefficient possible, the lines naturally converge.

​It begs the question: as electric vehicles and supercar concepts chase maximum aerodynamics, are we losing distinct brand identity, or is this just the beautiful evolution of modern EV shapes?

​George Russell after his sudden DNF at the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix.

While the FIA wasn't thrilled about the flying headrest from the Mercedes-AMG F1 driver, handing down a suspended €5,000 (R95K/ US$5.8K/ £4.3K) fine for safety reasons - you can't deny the raw frustration of of a mechanical retirement while fighting for the lead in Montreal.

For context, a suspended fine in motorsport means the driver doesn't actually have to pay the penalty upfront. Instead, it hangs over their head like a probation period. If the driver commits a similar safety or disciplinary infraction within the next 12 months, the probation breaks, and the full financial penalty is immediately triggered alongside any new punishments.

Scenes in Jozi this past weekend. An accident occurred involving a BMW M2, M4 and an Audi RS3 during the Traction Off SA breakfast run.

Apparently there was a woman driving the M2, but gender aside, this lack of spatial awareness and patience is wild. Should her license be revoked?
