Always wanted to see Trombone Shorty, a NOLO legend and when offered comp tickets had to say yes. St Paul and the Broken Bones opened. An 8 pc band out of Alabama. Lead singer did not look the part but St Paul brought some funk. See them on tour now with Teddy Swims. Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue brought the NOLO funk, soul, and jazz! Awesome and I would pay to see them again. If you like rock, soul, folk, etc see his show. He is not only a talent on the Trombone but an all out performer. Played with folks from Bo Diddley to Foo Fighters, Coachella to Newport Jazz Fest. Some day hope to see him in NOLO at Mardi Gras.
