🔧 The QI LASER team conducted a process test of a laser marking machine, successfully cutting 1.5mm stainless steel.
🔍 Working Principle:
The laser rapidly melts or vaporizes the material in extremely short pulses.
Through high-frequency scanning, the laser gradually removes layers of material, ultimately achieving a complete cut.
After the cut is complete, we perform another scan to clean the surface.
📌 Summary:
✅ Laser marking machines can handle cutting thicker materials, even though a 1.5mm cut may take over an hour.
However, in actual production, the following factors must be considered:
⚠️ Machine stability during long-term operation
⚠️ Processing quality and accuracy
⚠️ Overall efficiency and practicality
