As someone passionate about data analytics and youth education, it’s inspiring to see NYC public charter schools opening doors for the next generation through computer science, coding, and innovation. The future is being built block by block, right in our communities.

Every year I go to Coachella its always a blast!!! It’s my favorite place to watch live music. It's guaranteed to be a good time every time! I met so many sweetie pies. Also, for the friends at weekend two there is a vegan sandwich spot called .plant.butcher get the smokey. I've been thinking about this sandwich since I had it. Anyway, here are some fun posts from my Coachella adventure.

Veterans Day this week NYC Mayor-elect spend quality time with US veterans in the Bronx. I overheard one say we’ve never had anyone come visit us. Another veteran adorned the mayor-elect with a pin to show gratitude for working with to ensure snap recipients got their benefits. It was hard not to feel emotional witnessing an unhoused veteran give one of his only prized possessions to the mayoral elect for fighting for the people.

Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani today appointed Dean Fuleihan, New York City’s most experienced budget director and a 40+ year city and state management veteran, as First Deputy Mayor. This week, I attended an exciting event hosted by the United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network and The Canvas Global at their Soho location. In attendance were Alar Karis, President of the Republic of Estonia, and Sirje Karis, First Lady of the Republic of Estonia, for the reception “Building Transatlantic Bridges: A Celebration of Creative Collaboration between Estonia and the United States.” The gathering highlighted the creative and cultural dialogue between Estonia and the United States.

The event was part of the Fashion Diplomacy initiative in collaboration with Marilin Tammsaar, Spouse of the Permanent Representative of Estonia to the United Nations. This is an ongoing partnership The Canvas has with Estonian brands, the ESTONIAN DESIGN HOUSE.

The United Nations Fashion Lifestyle Network is a joint initiative of the UN Office for Partnerships, - a program of PVBLIC Foundation - and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
