This powerful realization from our event with 黑暗中對話 Dialogue in the Dark is exactly why I had to break my usual rule.

I don’t normally record videos for our monthly meetups, because nothing beats in-person energy, but the message of accessibility is just too important to skip.

Eventually, our mobility, eyesight, or hearing will fail us. It’s part of being human. When that time comes, we hope there will be a guide to help us along.

Here are a few stories of how Peter, James, Beta, and Alex view accessibility, and how they’re using AI to build real solutions.

In just one year, we went from being visitors in the crowd to taking the main stage at the . It’s wild what can happen in 12 months!

This time, we had the incredible opportunity to share Hong Kong builder stories and discuss how we can unlock powerful regional synergy. I am immensely proud of this milestone and so grateful to all of our speakers for such an insightful, inspiring afternoon.

A massive shout-out to the organizers for having us, and a huge thank you to our amazing community members who crossed the border and showed up early in the morning to support us.

Last year, I attended the HK01 AI Transformation and Solution Day as an unknown participant. At the time, “AI Tinkerers” wasn’t even on the radar in Hong Kong or the Greater Bay Area.

I remember waiting until the panels ended and then, with some thick skin, approaching every speaker to exchange cards and introduce the vision behind AI Tinkerers Hong Kong & Greater Bay Area.

Out of the 12+ corporates I followed up with, only one lead initially came to fruition, and that resulted in a member joining our community and helping us host multiple successful events, including a visit to the Baidu office in Shenzhen.

Even though many other corporates ignored us at first, several have since come back to collaborate now that our impact is undeniable.

Fast forward to today: I am returning to this event, but this time representing our community as an official “Supporting Organization”.

I am incredibly proud of what we’ve built:
- 43+ events hosted
- 1,300+ meaningful connections made

Never underestimate relentless passion. Your attitude truly determines your altitude. The worst answer you can get is a “no,” but every shot you don’t take is a guaranteed miss.

Career Break? More like a Breakthrough 👀

I’ve spent the last couple of hours reflecting on a sudden change while editing this video.

Yesterday, I received a letter stating that due to internal restructuring, I am now on an "involuntary career break". While it was unexpected, looking back at my time in the gaming industry, from launching products to working alongside incredible colleagues in Korea, I feel nothing but gratitude.

I’ve realized that while one door closes, the work I’ve been doing behind the scenes with my AI community and this channel is only just beginning.

In this age, I believe human-made content has a soul and a story that needs to be told. I’m taking this time to focus on what matters most: the process of creating.

Onward to the breakthrough.
