Shanghai’s Snowing Today! ❄️
Can you believe it? Shanghai’s actually getting real snow today — not the tiny sleet we usually get, but soft snowflakes floating down! ☃️
Stepped outside this morning and was hit with that crisp, cold air (it’s like the Arctic out here! 😂) and snowflakes sticking to my coat. The city looks so different covered in a light white layer — even the busy streets feel a little quieter.
Everyone’s pulling out their phones to snap photos; it’s such a big deal here because snow in Shanghai is so rare. Just watched a kid chasing snowflakes with his mom — pure joy!
Bundled up tight, sipping a hot drink, and enjoying this unexpected winter surprise. Who else is loving this snowy Shanghai day? ✨

As temperatures continue to drop in Shanxi Province, a striking winter spectacle of massive, crystalline icicles clinging to rocky cliffs has formed at Hukou Waterfall along the Yellow River. Shaped by freezing spray and plunging temperatures, the towering ice formations stand in sharp contrast to the still-roaring water below, creating a "Frozen"-like atmosphere. Located on the border of Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces, Hukou Waterfall is the second-largest of its kind in China and the largest on the Yellow River.
