🇹🇷 | A fast-moving wildfire is threatening residential areas in Bursa, Turkey, after erupting near Gürsu and Kestel districts on July 26, 2025.
Over 1700 people have been evacuated as the fire spread rapidly under strong winds, reaching stone quarries where explosions were reported.
Around 1100 firefighters, supported by helicopters and tankers, are working to contain the blaze. Authorities also closed sections of the Bursa to Ankara highway as thick smoke and flames approached the road.
Record heat and dry conditions have worsened the fire's spread
