🇲🇽 El Ciclochef, víctima de atraco en Colombia: pide apoyo para continuar su travesía continental 🚴♂️

San Luis, Antioquia – El cicloviajero mexicano Mabelo Ramos, mejor conocido como Ciclochef en redes sociales, está viviendo el capítulo más duro de su travesía por América. El pasado 30 de junio, mientras acampaba en la vía entre San Luis y Bogotá, fue víctima de un violento atraco que lo dejó golpeado, amarrado y prácticamente sin pertenencias.
Cinco agresores irrumpieron en su tienda de campaña en horas de la madrugada, lo amordazaron y lo golpearon en repetidas ocasiones. Tras despojarlo de su equipo, documentos y ropa, lo abandonaron a su suerte en un paraje del sector. Afortunadamente, habitantes de la zona acudieron en su ayuda, permitiéndole salir del lugar con vida y viajar hacia Bogotá.
Desde la capital colombiana, Ciclochef ha hecho un llamado a la comunidad cicloviajera, viajera y solidaria, solicitando apoyo para reponerse física y emocionalmente. Actualmente necesita alojamiento temporal, alimento y la posibilidad de trabajos ocasionales que le permitan retomar su ruta hacia la Patagonia, o en su defecto, regresar a su natal México.
“Estoy agradecido con las personas que me han tendido la mano, pero aún necesito una red de apoyo para levantarme nuevamente”, expresó a través de un mensaje dirigido a sus seguidores.

🇲🇽 Ciclochef Assaulted in Colombia: Calls for Help to Continue His Journey Across the Americas 🚴♂️

San Luis, Antioquia – Mexican bicycle traveler Mabelo Ramos, known as Ciclochef on social media, is enduring the most difficult moment of his journey across the Americas. On June 30th, while camping along the road from San Luis to Bogotá, Colombia, he was the victim of a violent robbery that left him bruised, bound, and without most of his belongings.
At dawn, five attackers broke into his tent, tied him up, and beat him repeatedly. After stealing his equipment, documents, and clothing, they left him nearly naked and abandoned on the roadside. Fortunately, residents of the area came to his aid and helped him make his way to Bogotá.
From the Colombian capital, Ciclochef has issued an emotional plea to the traveler and bikepacking communities for help. He is currently in need of temporary shelter, food, and short-term job opportunities to recover and decide whether to continue toward Patagonia or return home to Mexico.
“I’m deeply grateful to those who have already helped me, but I still need a community to lean on while I get back on my feet,” he shared in a message to his followers.
