This is Gunsmoke, and he won't tolerate anyone near Gypsy, and no one can mess with his stepson and best buddy, McKinney. This strong, silent type turns into all teeth and hooves when irritated.

~ MAY DAY ~

Oh my goodness, spotting May Day with his mares Mocha and Checker literally made my day! I was so happy to see that he looked so good and still had his girls.

May Day is a classic dun with primitive markings. note his leg stripes, shading over the shoulders and distinctive eye "makeup". Mayday was born in 2013 out of Heidi, with sire unknown. As a tiny new foal he was pulled from a muddy bog by several photographers, including John Wagner. John passed away a few years ago. He was the first person to document the wild horses and post about them. So grateful that he was able to help rescue May Day. What a truly handsome stallion he grew up to be!
