Originally released a decade ago, this project brought together visionary producers and timeless Afro-Colombian rhythms, creating a dialogue between tradition and the global electronic underground. Now, remastered and pressed on wax, the record returns with renewed depth—warmer, richer, and ready to be experienced the way it was always meant to be heard.
This limited vinyl edition celebrates the legacy of the original release while honoring the artists, communities, and sounds that inspired it. Whether you’ve been with us since day one or are discovering it for the first time, this reissue is an invitation to reconnect with a pivotal moment in Afro-Colombian musical fusion.

Immensely talented singer Zongo Abongo, whom we've worked with on numerous projects, has recently had surgery to remove his kidney and a 19cm large cancerous tumour.

The surgery was a success but Zongo is struggling to afford the follow up medical appointments and aftercare that is much needed to put this cancer fully behind him.

Some friends have gathered together to compile this EP, packed full of wicked exclusives and b-o-o-t*l•e•g•s - available for you to purchase on this rare occasion.

In fact this EP will be available to purchase & download only for the duration of the fundraising period and it will then be taken down and these tracks may or may not one day become available again after that…

Killabeatmaker, LaGuadalupe - Gaita Hembra

Colombian producers and LaGuadalupe ( ) join forces on “Gaita Hembra,” a meeting between traditional and electronic sounds. The song intertwines traditional gaita rhythmic patterns with digital textures and sounds.

Native to Colombia’s Caribbean region, the gaita flute—Chuana, Kuisi—takes center stage, its melodic patterns unfolding over a subtle, dembow-influenced electronic beat.

Produced between Heidelberg (Germany) and Medellín (Colombia), the track bridges the organic and the digital, exploring new expressive possibilities within contemporary global music.

The project brings together Guadalupe Giraldo (gaita), Fernando “Toby” Tobón (guitar), Yulian Perc (Latin percussion and tambor alegre), and Camilo Silva (synthesizers), under the direction and musical production of Hilder Brando Osorno Palacio, known as Killabeatmaker.

This is music that dissolves boundaries between acoustic and electronic, past and present, ritual and rave. With “Gaita Hembra,” Killabeatmaker and LaGuadalupe deliver a rich, evolving soundscape that invites both deep listening and dance-floor movement, offering a bold vision of what Colombian electronic music can become.
