Interesting CRUISE FACT.🫠

Great way to remember which side of the ship is PORT and STARBOARD.🌊🚢

“Per international maritime law (COLREGs), ships are required to have a red light on the port side (left) and a green light on the starboard side (right).”

I’ve been cruising for years and I still hear people say “left” and “right” on a ship.

But port and starboard show up everywhere once you start paying attention. Muster drill. Crew announcements. Docking days. Even some deck plans.

The annoying part? Most memory tricks are either confusing… or you forget them five minutes later.

These are the ones that actually stick.

I enjoyed a very interesting tour of the city.🔥
It was interesting to see bananas and other fruits growing along side of the road.

Our driver stopped to show me up close a banana plant. AMAZING!😳😎💙
