We couldn’t stay away from the beach any longer! We are on the southern Pacific Coast between Quepos and Dominical. This area has mountains on one side and coast on the other. In between are thousands of palm trees orchards where they harvest the seeds to make palm oil.

The hard hat makes the outfit, don’t you think? At Poas Volcano National Park, you get to walk up to the crater of the active volcano, which is spewing gas and steam. The hard hat and concrete shelter are required precautions in case the volcano erupts while you’re there! 😧

I’m falling behind on my posts. We have been in our new house in Palmares for a few days. This is the view from the porch. 😍 This is coffee country - coffee plants are everywhere. These are right in front of our house. ☕️❤️

Second waterfall of the adventure: Rio Celeste. A bit upstream two rivers merge, and the combination of the minerals creates this turquoise water. It is unbelievable!

We have exciting news! We are off on a new adventure to explore Costa Rica. As many of you may know, we closed our Texas Tico beach business a few years ago to explore other opportunities in the Potrero/Flamingo area. But now we are expanding our horizons even more. Follow along as we travel to different areas of Costa Rica and share our experiences. First stop is Arenal, where we arrived this week. More to come soon.
