Driving from Drake Bay to Puerto Viejo was a challenge in the beginning as we had to cross multiple rivers in our sedan. These rivers didn’t have bridges constructed over them yet. (Jeff was so happy to see concrete that he kissed it)

If you ever get down to the Osa Peninsula, make sure that you don’t miss out on going to Corcovado National Park. It’s biodiversity blew us away! We even got to see a tapir (an endangered species) thanks to our dedicated tour guide, Rudolfo!

After Manuel Antonio, we hit up the Osa Peninsula! It was hard for us to leave the Osa because it was such a beautiful place and we spent so much time there. And our hostel was our home away from home. If you ever go to Puerto Jimenez, stay at the Chosa Manglar Nature Retreat. Amazing people and it’s absolutely gorgeous!!

Manuel Antonio National Park was amazing!!
