Green Art Incubator ukazuje na mogućnost eko-zaokreta institucija i organizacija u polju kulture i umetnosti, kao relevantnih prostora za promišljanje klimatske krize. Green Art Incubator je inicijativa eksperata i profesionalaca u interdisciplinarnom polju koja u centar promišljanja smešta uspostavljanje odnosa umetnosti prema aktuelnoj klimatskoj krizi, sa ciljem podrške i osnaživanja savremenih

sistema domaće umetničke produkcije u pravcu zelene transformacije. Inicijativa je trenutno kroz, niz aktivnosti, kao što su mapiranje i istraživanje praksi i potencijala organizacija u kontekstu zelene transformacije, realizacija obuka za predstavnike organizacija, izrada jedinstvenih zelenih e-priručnika, usmerena na oblasti izvođačkih, filmskih i vizuelnih umetnosti. Partneri na projektu su Fakultet dramskih umetnosti, Fizički fakultet Univerziteta u Beogradu, SCEN- Studije scenskog dizajna Tehničkog fakulteta u Novom Sadu, Smart Kolektiv, platforma SEECult i Privredna komora Srbije, dok su projektne aktivnosti podržane od strane Fondacije za otvoreno društvo, Ministarstva kulture i informisanja i Italijanskog instituta za kulturu u Beogradu.

🌱 Student-Led Green Initiatives in Action 🌍

Europe's leading multidisciplinary network in higher arts education and research is organizing Arts & Ecology Online Session, exploring how students across artistic disciplines are leading ecological and sustainability initiatives in higher arts education. 🌿

What motivates them, how they organise their work in practice, and how institutions can support transformative action? 💭

🎤 Moderated by G*I co-founder the discussion will dive into the power of student agency in responding to the climate crisis and reimagining art education from the ground up.

📣 .micanovic MA student & G*I project manager will be presenting the initiative, sharing grassroots insights from festival production to institutional dialogue.

Whether you’re a student, educator, artist, or change-maker, this conversation will explore why student-led ecological action matters and how it can reshape our institutions toward justice and sustainability. ⚡️

🎬 U okviru 31. FAF-a, u saradnji sa Green Art Incubator i Akademskim filmskim centrom Dom kulture Studentski grad, održaćemo specijalan program posvećen ekološkim temama, održivim filmskim praksama i ulozi mladih autora.

🌱 Program otvaraju kratkometražni dokumentarni filmovi nastali na radionici KINO-EKO, koje su realizovali studenti umetničkih i društvenih fakulteta:

🗓 U utorak, 28. oktobra, sa početkom od 11h, na Fakultet dramskih umetnosti predstavićemo priručnik Green Art Practices on the Margin, koji je nastao u okviru dvogodišnjeg međunarodnog projekta 🎭

Publikacija nudi praktični i konceptualni okvir za integraciju principa ekološke održivosti u izvođačke umetnosti, kroz sve faze kreativnog i produkcionog procesa- od ideje do realizacije i distribucije. 🌍

💡 Događaj je namenjen studentima i profesionalcima u polju pozorišta i izvođačkih umetnosti, kao i svim delatnicima u kulturi- umetnicima, producentima, menadžerima i istraživačima, koji su zainteresovani za procese zelene transformacije i pitanje ekološki održivih umetničkih praksi.

📢 Big news: Announcing our Day II Keynote Speaker! 💥

📅 On Friday, September 19, at 10:30h, we welcome Vânia Rodrigues as the keynote speaker of the Re-Imagine Closing Conference 🙌🏻

🗨 With over 15 years of experience in arts management, Vânia is currently a researcher at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies (CEIS20), University of Coimbra, where she co-runs the R&D platform Modes of Production- Performing Arts in Transition. She also teaches at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and co-coordinates the PhD in Contemporary Studies.

🎭 In her talk “Critical sustainability - making sense of cultural institutions' eco-responsibility”, Vânia will explore how the ecological emergency challenges artistic projects and cultural institutions to rethink their practices and put their social and political roles to the test. Drawing on her research in eco-ethical arts management, she will share insights into how the cultural field can navigate this transition with responsibility and imagination.🌿

🗨 In this evening session, visual artist, researcher, and educator Miguel Sbastida will share insights from his decade-long investigation into sustainable art practices. 🙌🏻

Working at the boundaries of environmental science and the visual arts, his work explores coral reef restoration, deep-ecology, and our evolving relationship with the Earth Organism. 🌊

Through installations, performances, and research-driven projects, Miguel invites us to imagine new perspectives of belonging, mutuality, and ecological care. 🌍

How free is artistic and cultural practice when it ties itself to a cause, such as sustainable development? How can cultural and artistic activists avoid falling into moralism? 🤔

💡 This interactive conversation invites participants to reflect on their roles, goals, means, and responsibilities in shaping a sustainable cultural future 🌿

🗨 Philipp Thapa is an ecologist, philosopher, and writer, currently a researcher with the Sustainable Europe Research Institute (SERI, Germany). Under the EU project The Big Green, he explores the relationship between sustainable development and the creative sector. Philipp teaches and practices environmental philosophy, ethics, and utopian thinking, and has worked across literary translation, international cooperation, and conflict work.
