YUGO FLORIDA — World Premiere at the 31st 🔥

We are proud to announce that our client Jana Milosavljević stars in the highly anticipated new feature YUGO FLORIDA, directed by Vladimir Tagić, which will celebrate its World Premiere in the Competition Programme – Feature Film at the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival.

🎬 YUGO FLORIDA marks the feature film debut of Vladimir Tagić, a filmmaker already well known to regional audiences for TV series 'Morning Changes Everything', 'The Children of Evil' and 'Operation Sabre'.

🎞️ Synopsis: Zoran's awkward, almost pointless life - which features a pothead roommate, an unavailable ex-girlfriend, and a job on reality TV - is turned upside down when his estranged and intolerable father is diagnosed with a termal illness and Zoran commits himself to helping him through his final weeks.

DESIRE LINES Screens Today at the 31st 🔥

Directed by Dane Komljen and co-written with Tanja Šljivar, DESIRE LINES, a psychological drama, screens today in the In Focus Programme at the Sarajevo Film Festival, following its world premiere in Locarno's main competition.

Synopsis: Branko lives on the margins of society, tormented by insomnia and loneliness. He speaks to no one. His only obsession appears to be with his younger brother, whose muddy shoes, bloody bedsheets, and mysterious presence stoke unease. Through street passages, shrubbery in parks, and brutalist landscapes, Branko follows his brother's every step, concerned about his behaviour. While his paranoia grows, Branko begins to realise that it is he, and not his brother, who is strange.

The six-part drama series directed by Ahmed Abdullahi will be presented today at the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival as part of the Avant Premiere Series Programme, with the first two episodes screened for festival audiences.

This powerful political-historical drama, a co-production between France and Sweden, had its world premiere at 2025 in Lille, France, where it attracted international attention. We are proud to share that three of our clients — Amar Bukvić, Milan Kovačević and Kerim Čutuna, star in this highly anticipated TV series.

🎞️ Synopsis: Inspired by real events within the Bosnian conflict of the 1990s, A LIFE’S WORTH tells a story of human brutality and difficult moral decisions, but also of strong friendship, love and trust.

UPON SUNRISE, a short film, celebrates its Regional Premiere at 🔥

We are proud to share that our client Milica Janevski stars in the Lead Role of this 14-minute short directed by Stefan Ivančić. The film had its World Premiere at the 54th International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), where it was praised for its emotional depth and social urgency. Lyse Nsengiyumva, programmer at IFFR, described the film as 'a poignant glimpse into the everyday struggles of a woman trying her hardest to navigate grave social inequality, with little to no support from the state.'

🎞️ Synopsis: Maria, a single mother living in Serbia where housing is unstable, healthcare expensive, and job opportunities scarce, desperately tries to provide for her six-year-old son. With no other options, she turns to petty scams to make ends meet.

🎬 After its international debut, UPON SUNRISE now reaches domestic audiences with its regional premiere in Competition programme for Short Film at the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival.

HOW COME IT’S ALL GREEN OUT HERE? screens today at as part of the In Focus Programme. 🔥

The second feature film directed by Nikola Ležaić had its world premiere at this years Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF) and now continues its festival journey, bringing an intimate story to audiences in Sarajevo.

The film stars clients Leon Lučev, Milica Gojković, Milena Predić, Ivan Čuić and Rade Marković, with production by Qce and Nukleus Filmand.

🎞️ Synopsis: Nikola (34), a filmmaker stuck in the commercial industry, buys an old van to turn into a camper, dreaming of family road trips with his wife and their soon-to-be-born daughter. When he learns that the remains of his late grandmother, a refugee from the war, might be returned to her native village in Dalmatia, Nikola sets off with his father Mirko (74), who is returning to the family home after 25 years. Their journey unfolds into a poignant exploration of parenthood, family bonds, the passing of time and the fragile nature of memory.

🎬 The film captures a series of seemingly incidental moments that weave together into a family’s collective memory. Drawing on autobiographical elements, Ležaić crafts a story that is both authentic and emotionally resonant - deeply personal yet universal.

Synopsis: A reserved teenager, Hana, has been invited by her crush, Balsa, to go to a lake with him to film a solar eclipse. On the morning of their planned trip, however, Hana's father, a top-notch pilot, dies. In his will, Hana's father requests that he be buried in a space suit. Frustrated by her mother's inability to stand up to the rest of the family, who want to give her father a traditional funeral, Hana runs away from home and goes to the lake, where she comes to realise that Balsa is an aggressive predator. Hana must suppress her considerate and obedient nature or her destiny will be as dark as the solar eclipse.

Slavic Artists Clients in OUR FATHER, World Premiere at 🔥

We are proud to announce that our clients Vučić Perović, Toni Mihajlovski, Nenad Heraković, Dado Ćosić, Nikola Šurbanović and Petar Novaković star in the highly anticipated Serbian psychological drama OUR FATHER, which will have its world premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) as part of the festival's Discovery section.

🎞️ OUR FATHER, the debut narrative feature by Goran Stanković, follows 32-year-old Dejan (Vučić Perović) who, after years of spiraling addiction, retreats to a remote monastery commune run by a strict but charismatic priest. Isolated from the outside world, the commune enforces recovery through a regimen of labor, discipline, obedience and faith. Assigned a humble guardian, Dejan begins the painful path toward healing - until a disturbing video surfaces showing a patient violently enforcing the rules, the outside world takes notice and Dejan is forced to choose between protecting the system that gave him purpose or confronting the truth he can no longer ignore.

Written by Stanković in collaboration with Ognjen Sviličić, Maja Pelević and Dejan Prćić, the screenplay is the result of years of research and interviews with survivors of faith-based rehabilitation programs.

The film is produced by This and That Productions, with co-production from Nightswim, PomPom Film, KINO, Dream Factory, Novi Film, and Cineplanet. It is backed by Film Center Serbia, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, MIC – Ministry of Culture of Italy, HAVC – Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Film Centre of Montenegro, Film Agency of North Macedonia, Sarajevo Film Fund, Creative Europe MEDIA, and RE-ACT.

The 50th edition of TIFF will take place September 4–14 in Toronto.

Anita Ognjanović in Leading Role of Serbian Miniseries ABSOLUTE 100, World Premiere at 🔥

We are proud to announce that our client Anita Ognjanović stars in a lead role in the highly anticipated Serbian miniseries ABSOLUTE 100, which will have its world premiere at the 59th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival as part of the Special Screenings section on July 5th.

This marks a notable moment in the festival’s programming, as KVIFF brings back the miniseries format to its Special Screenings after a four-year break. Absolute 100 is directed by Srdan Golubović , in collaboration with three of his former students - Stefan Ivančić, Katarina Mutić and Nikola Stojanović. Screenplay: Boris Grgurović, Nađa Petrović, Ivan Knežević and Ljubica Luković. Production: Firefly Productions.

🎞️ In the series, Anita Ognjanović takes on the role of Sonja, a 19-year-old junior champion in sport shooting. With her mother living abroad and her father - a war veteran drowning in debt, the family faces the threat of losing their home. When her older brother attempts to resolve their financial troubles through shady dealings, Sonja is forced to take justice into her own hands after her family is threatened.

The festival will screen the entire miniseries, with the creators in attendance.
