I’m proud to announce that my band will be opening for one of the main bands that inspired us – PLOHO!

Ploho’s show at Zappa Baza on 19 March will feature Šmeterling — an experimental post-punk duo from Belgrade. The band blends alternative rock, gothic, and electronic elements, creating a unique atmosphere that fuses melancholy with dance energy.

Šmeterling released a mini album titled "Pogrešne priče o ljubavi" (Twisted love stories) and have performed as an opening act for Goatmare & The Hellspades at Dorćol Platz in Belgrade, as well as in Svitac Club in Jagodina and AKC Fuzz in Niš. Their sound and aesthetics lean toward a darker, gothic expression, while their live shows deliver raw, emotional energy.

Renowned for their melancholic melodies and nostalgic lyrics, Siberian post-punk band Ploho is embarking on a seven-city Balkan tour this March with their new album «Почва» (“Soil”). Hailing from Novosibirsk and now based in Belgrade, the trio is one of the leading forces in the “new wave of Russian music”, blending post-punk and new wave with their signature cold and lo-fi sound.

With a discography that includes four studio albums, multiple EPs, and collaborations with notable artists like Molchat Doma, Ploho has toured extensively across Europe and beyond, performing at major festivals and captivating audiences with their atmospheric live shows. Their music is often compared to Joy Division, reflecting the austere beauty of Soviet architecture while evoking emotions that transcend time and borders.

The concert will feature tracks from «Почва» alongside fan favorites from their extensive discography.

*Arhitekte Dobrog Ukusa – Klub Vrtoglavica, petak 7.2.2024.*

Još pre mnogo godina, tadašnji metalci Stanko Milosavljević i Aca Todorović tragali su za idealnom žurkom – mestom gde možeš da đuskaš, povremeno čuješ nešto tvrđe, a ponekad i da osetiš inovaciju, pravac u kom će se rokenrol kretati u narednoj deceniji.

Beogradska scena, i mejnstrim i alternativna, nudila je najviše dva od tri uslova. Mejnstrim didžejevi robovali su formatu – njihove su žurke bile posećene, ali muzika plitka, isprazna, repetitivna. S druge strane, alternativni didžejevi često su robovali žanrovima i muzičkom purizmu. Iako su njihove žurke imale više supstance, često su bile jednolične i ograničene.

Na brodu Viktorija nastale su Arhitekte Dobrog Ukusa – kolektiv koji priznaje samo jednog boga: VRHUNSKU ŽURKU. Nemamo žanrovsku granicu, vodi nas isključivo osećaj. A do sada nas je vodio dobro.

Sa zadovoljstvom vam predstavljam trećeg Arhitektu dobrog ukusa

MILICU

Kako našem vampirskom duetu fali Klaudija (ko je Louis, ko je Lestate ne znamo ni sami), našli smo je u Milici. Milica je tu da nas provede kroz muziku kroz koju njena generacija vajbuje i spreči nas da postanemo dinosaurusi.
Milica svira klavijature u kultnom pančevačkom punk/horrorbilly sastavu "Goatmare and the Hellspades" dok završava master rad na FLU. Ne sećam se da je propustila ijedan bitniji gothic koncert zadnjih nekoliko godina od kako je postala punoletna. Od muzike, dominira u polju new wave-a, kako originalnog tako i drugog talasa, međutim divlja strana joj leži u poljima black metala, tako, nemojte da se iznenadite ako čujete hladne norveške vetrove nakom Acinih i mojih pijanih ispada. To je samo Miličin bes :D

Pitate se šta je Šmeterling i kakva je to predgrupa na koncertu Goatmare and the Hellspades? Šmeterling je dark/new wave projekat iz Beograda, u kojem učestvuje veliki broj muzičara, a u centru projekta nalazi se Stanko Milosavljević (poznat i kao Vojin Miljković, dj.stanko69). On je ujedno kompozitor i pevač ovog sastava. Na ovom lajv nastupu, Šmeterling će nastupiti uz podršku gospodina Elia Rigonata (poznatog iz bendova Kobold i Fractured), svirajući nov materijal, kao i pesme sa EP-a "Pogrešne priče o ljubavi"
