Међународна научна конференција „The polyphonic voice of youth“ у Етнографском институту САНУ, 13. мај 2025. године
У организацији Етнографског института САНУ 13. маја 2025. године одржана је међународна научна конференција „The polyphonic voice of youth“. На скупу су изглагачи из различитих друштвених и хуманистичких дисциплина имали прилику за размену резултата истраживања о разноврсним искуствима младих у различитим структурним и географским контекстима. Такође, конференција омогућава промишљање начина на који су млади представљени и позиционирани у савременим друштвима, као и начина на који се обликују интерсекционалне политичке субјективности у нестабилним друштвеним и политичким околностима. Конференција је окупила научнице и научнике из Велике Британије, Хрватске, Словачке, Грчке, Шпаније, Русије и Србије. У првој сесији су учествовали Elena Omelchenko (Higher School of Economics and Centre for Youth Studies) са излагањем: „New forms of “non-political” activity of Russian youth - civic participation, cultural and creative initiatives“, Катарина Митровић Ражнатовић (Етнографски институт САНУ) на тему: „Managing “extended youth” in Serbia: agency in “stuckedness”“, Hilary Pilkington and Nadim Mirshak (University of Manchester) на тему „Amplifying youth voice in micro-settings: good practices and structural barriers“, као и Renata Franc, Benjamin Perasović and Marko Mustapić (Institute of Social Sciences Ivo Pilar) са излагањем „Aporia in youth participation: the Croatian perspective“.
Другу сесију отворио је Anton Popov (Aston University) са презентацијом: „‘A Safe Place’: Performing Political Activism and Cosmopolitan Identities in the Youth Theatre“, након чега је Ivan Chorvát (Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica) излагао са насловом: „Cultural capital and youth activism. Is civic engagement influenced by family environment?“, а Милош Рашић (Етнографски институт САНУ) завршио сесију са излагањем Between two homelands: Cultural organizations, identity, and political subjectivity of young Serbs in Vienna“.
Трећи панел отвориле су академик Јелена Јовановић (Музиколошки институт САНУ) и Љубица Поповић (Културни центар Топола) са презентацијом „Voices of youth from polyphonic generational, repertoire, and musical discourse in Cultural-artistic association “Oplenac”, Topola (Serbia)“. Natalia Koutsougera (Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences) говорила је на тему: „Dancing femininity in contemporary urban dance cultures of Greece: Dimensions of resistance and compliance“, а Ана Банић Грубишић (Универзитет у Београду) у Соња Радивојевић (Етнографски институт САНУ) презентовале су истраживање: „Characteristics of Internet Memes as Emotional Mediators in Youth Culture“.
Четврти панел отворио је Ajmal Hussain (University of Warwick) „Leaving being ‘left behind’: Young people’s itineraries of operation and resistance in a post-industrial English city“. Лада Стевановић (ЕИ САНУ), Бојана Богдановић (ЕИ САНУ) и Иван Ђорђевић (ЕИ САНУ) говорили су на тему: „Youth Activism in Roma Communities in Serbia: Citizens’ Association Ternipe from Pirot“. Zyab Ibanez (Universitat Autònoma Barcelona) изложио је презентацију: „What to do when good jobs are neither available nor to be expected?“.
Конференцију су затворили Слободан Наумовић (Универзитет у Београду) са излагањем „“Where I Left Off, You Continue”: Elements of Catharsis in Narratives of the Contemporary Student Protests“ и Нина Куленовић (Универзитет у Београду) The Case of SKC as a Transformation Lab Betwixt and Between Structure and Anti-Structure“.
International Academic Conference “The Polyphonic Voice of Youth” at the Institute of Ethnography SASA, May 13, 2025
On May 13, 2025, the Institute of Ethnography of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts hosted the international academic conference The Polyphonic Voice of Youth. The event brought together scholars from a range of social science and humanities disciplines to share research findings on the diverse experiences of young people across various structural and geographical contexts. The conference also served as a platform for critical reflection on how youth are represented and positioned in contemporary societies, as well as how intersectional political subjectivities are formed in times of social and political instability. The conference gathered researchers from the United Kingdom, Croatia, Slovakia, Greece, Spain, Russia, and Serbia.
