Today, I am pleased to share that I have successfully completed the IBM course “Fundamentals of AI Agents Using RAG and LangChain” on Coursera.
This course is highly relevant to the next stage of artificial intelligence development, especially in the areas of:
- AI Agents
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation
- LangChain
- Large Language Models
- task automation
- intelligent workflows
- integration of AI systems with external knowledge sources
AI agents represent an important step beyond traditional generative AI tools. While standard AI assistants respond to prompts, AI agents can plan, use tools, retrieve information, interact with documents, support decision-making, and perform complex tasks with a higher level of autonomy.
For me, this knowledge is especially valuable because it can be directly applied in digital education, academic publishing, research automation, OJS workflows, journal evaluation, metadata extraction, RAG systems, and the development of AI-based institutional solutions.
This certificate is another step toward building practical, reliable, and useful AI agents for education, research, publishing, and digital transformation.
Thank you to IBM and Coursera for this valuable learning experience.
