FATP
Second delivery of the Noise Spectrum Series
This work is inspired in the process which every living being comes to life.
Through my recent experiences at Delivery Rooms at Cubans hospitals, I've perceived the environment intertwined with pain, fluids and some machines that makes some glitchy sounds.
Throughout that tension being at the position of healthcare provider I try to recreate the deep peace experienced at the womb being disrupted by the pulsations and the screams.
Sometimes through my 24h shift when I'm awake at 4am I just want that Oceanic feeling of weirdness of the womb. So I created this work:
"Fase Activa del Trabajo de Parto" practically called FATP in Spanish...
So the continuum and pulses that never stops carry me to the computational space where electricity melts with the self through sound.
