Samueldavid Baromeo and A Willemstad Production are kicking off 2025 with incredible news! Their short film Cachot has been nominated for Best Ensemble at the prestigious Red Movie Awards in Reims, France.

The journey of Cachot in 2024 was nothing short of extraordinary, earning numerous nominations and wins worldwide. One of the biggest highlights was its screening at the Cinneum in Cannes, a proud moment for Curaçao 🇨🇼 on the global cinema stage. Now, in May, Cachot will once again grace the big screen in France, this time at the Operaims in Reims.

It’s a powerful way to start the year—witnessing how a story born in Curaçao continues to touch lives and inspire through international film festivals.
