Here we share our 5-day weather forecast for the ABC islands for this week (April 27th to May 1st, 2026).
* The weather this week across the ABC islands will start somewhat unstable but will rapidly stabilize as we move towards midweek (by Tuesday afternoon). We expect partly to mostly cloudy skies on Monday with the possibility of a few local showers. Some thunder is not ruled out. Most of the activity would take place during the nighttime hours through possibly the morning hours. From Monday night through Tuesday morning, we will have again the possibility of a few local showers and the possibility of a thunderstorm. After that, a drier pattern will dominate over the local islands, meaning that the chances of rain will significantly decrease, and we will note how the winds increase in strength along with the presence of some Saharan dust.
Synopsis: As a westward moving disturbance moves over the local region in the coming 24 hours, it will lead to an increase of the cloudiness until Tuesday midday and occasionally the formation of some showers with the risk of thunder. This will mostly happen during the nighttime hours and the morning hours.
As for the days after (Wednesday through Friday), we expect mostly dry conditions with partly sunny skies and less Saharan dust. The winds would then be moderate to strong in gusts from the east. The sea will have waves between 1.2 to 1.5 meters high. Maximum temperatures this week will be around 31-32 degrees Celsius/ 88-89 degrees Fahrenheit, and the minimum temperatures will be around 25-27 degrees Celsius/ 77-81 degrees Fahrenheit.

The weather this week across the ABC islands will be slightly variable during the first half of the week. We expect partly cloudy skies with the possibility of a few local showers through Wednesday. By Thursday and Friday it should remain mostly dry. Areas of cloudiness with a few embedded showers will move over the local region and that could lead to some activity across the local islands through Wedbesday. Little to no Saharan dust is expected in the forecast period. The winds will generally be light to moderate this week. The sea will have waves between 0.7 to 1.0 meters high. Maximum temperatures this week will be around 31 degrees Celsius/ 88 degrees Fahrenheit, and the minimum temperatures will be around 25-26 degrees Celsius/ 77-79 degrees Fahrenheit.

El tiempo esta semana en las islas ABC será ligeramente variable durante la primera mitad de la semana. Se esperan cielos parcialmente nublados con posibilidad de algunas lluvias aisladas hasta el miércoles. Para el jueves y el viernes debería mantenerse mayormente seco. We continue to monitor the weather across the ABC islands as a disturbance located now north of Puerto Rico is pushing an area of cloudiness from the southwest over the local islands. On Wednesday, it led very locally to some activity. Conditions are becoming more favorable for the development of shower activity over parts of the local islands later tonight through tomorrow early afternoon. Showers could locally be heavy. After that, the chances will drop but again on Friday, there could be some activity but by then the chances won't be as high as on Thursday.

Continuamos monitoreando el tiempo en las islas ABC, ya que una perturbación ubicada al norte de Puerto Rico está desplazando una zona de nubosidad desde el suroeste hacia las islas. El miércoles, se registraron algunas precipitaciones en zonas muy aisladas. Las condiciones se están volviendo más favorables para el desarrollo de chubascos en algunas partes de las islas desde esta noche hasta la tarde de mañana. Los chubascos podrían ser localmente fuertes. Here we share our 5-day weather forecast for the ABC islands for this week (April 13th to April 17th, 2026).

* The weather this week across the ABC islands will be a little more variable. We expect partly cloudy skies with a slight increase in possibilities of a local shower or two during the week. A disturbance, currently affecting the northern Caribbean, is expected to also influence the weather across different areas of the Caribbean. Such is the case across the eastern and Central Caribbean and somewhat across northern Venezuela, besides the northern Caribbean. Over the ABC islands its effects are questionable, as there is no consensus on the models and the models have not been consistent, but there could be a chance of a local shower or two starting mostly by Wednesday. One thing is guaranteed, the winds will decrease compared to last week, becoming generally moderate from the east. Another factor that will diminish is the Saharan dust, that will be slightly present until Monday. The winds will be generally moderate this week. The sea will have waves between 1.0 to 1.1 meters high. Maximum temperatures this week will be around 31-32 degrees Celsius/ 88-89 degrees Fahrenheit, and the minimum temperatures will be around 26 degrees Celsius/ 79 degrees Fahrenheit.

* We end the current week with stable weather conditions. We expect partly cloudy skies and in general mostly dry weather conditions should prevail. We also expect somewhat hazy skies due to a thin mass of Saharan dust over the local region. The winds will be moderate to strong from the east on Friday, but those will decrease slightly to moderate to strong in gusts on Saturday and Sunday. The sea will have waves between 1.3 to 1.6 meters high with a lowering trend. Maximum temperatures this weekend will be around 32 degrees Celsius/ 89 degrees Fahrenheit, and the minimum temperatures will be around 27 degrees Celsius/ 81 degrees Fahrenheit.

The easterly trade winds will be moderate to strong this week, mostly between Tuesday and Thursday. The sea will have waves between 1.7 to 2.3 meters high. Swimmers and boaters should take this into account. Maximum temperatures this week will be around 32 degrees Celsius/ 89 degrees Fahrenheit, and the minimum temperatures will be around 26 degrees Celsius/ 79 degrees Fahrenheit.

More cloudiness and shower activity will be developing from time to time in the coming days, leading to some very needed rainfall across parts of the ABC islands. The winds will generally be moderate from the east. The sea will have waves between 0.9 to 1.3 meters high. Maximum temperatures will be around 31 degrees Celsius/ 88 degrees Fahrenheit, and the minimum temperatures will be around 25-26 degrees Celsius/ 77-79 degrees Fahrenheit.
