Chances are you met the work of Jhomar Loaiza. 🎨 Born in Venezuela and living in Curaçao since 2018, this self-taught artist has covered the island in colorful, expressive murals, from the Kaya Kaya Street Party project to his most recent piece at the RIF stadium. 🏟️

Some places on Curaçao feel like they were made just for you. Kleine Knip, also known as Playa Kenepa Chiki, is one of them. This sheltered little bay on the west coast is postcard-perfect, with a crescent of white sand framing the most incredible shades of blue water you have ever seen.

The snorkeling here is exceptional. The calm, clear water makes it easy to explore the underwater life along the rocks. And because Kleine Knip is smaller and more secluded than many other beaches, it tends to stay quiet, especially on weekdays. That is exactly the kind of beach day we all need sometimes.

She has round shapes, a bright hand-painted style, and a whole lot of soul. Meet Chichi, the iconic art figure created by German artist Serena Israel and one of the most beloved symbols of Curaçao. Head to the colorful Chichi Garden in Santa Catharina and paint your very own during the walk-in workshop.

Every Tuesday and Saturday morning you can join the creative session, pick your favorite sculpture, hear the story behind Chichi, and bring your own masterpiece home the same day. Walk in between 09:00 and 09:15, it is first come, first served.
