We’re thrilled to introduce Dave Scott as the latest member of our team at Hot Soap Studios. Dave is a veteran sound engineer with a career spanning more than four decades. Beginning in 1981, he quickly built a reputation for his skill in both live sound and studio recording. As a freelance engineer, he worked closely with Oasis during their early rise, recording and mixing the band’s debut single Supersonic and engineering their landmark first album Definitely Maybe. Other notable clients include The Real People, Smaller, Atomic Kitten, Pete Wylie + Wah and Cast from UK, as well as El Morraba3, Aziz Maraka and 47Soul from Jordan. His career has since taken him across the UK, Europe, Japan, the Middle East, and the USA, supporting artists on tour and in the studio.

Dave provides professional recording and mixing services for musicians worldwide. Combining technical expertise with a creative ear, he brings clarity, depth, and energy to every project. With decades of experience and a track record of working on iconic records, Dave continues to help artists achieve the highest standard of sound.

1 August | 19:00 | Carlsberg Beer Garden
Ttavas is an unique artist residency programme that we support for the second year in a row and will bring together Nidal Talal Ghannam (Beirut), Ahmet Choban (Famagusta), Dona Amyrotou (Larnaca) and Kleopatra Iakovou (Larnaca) for five days to co-create and develop an original set of music to be presented at Fengaros Festival 2025. The goal of Ttavas is to strengthen collaborations between artists from Cyprus and the Middle East by providing them with a safe space with no creative limits in order to further develop their collaboration skills and repertoire.

Happening this July 19th ✨

Singer songwriter and guitarist Copper Mine is gracing Hot Soap for a one of a kind Intimate Session ( #10). Copper Mine’s earliest and most lasting musical influences came from exploring as a teenager his older sister’s record collection and discovering the likes of Bob Dylan, JJ Cale, Dire Straits, the Beatles and Bob Marley. He later came to love other genres including jazz, Latino and opera. He sees songs as a great way of capturing moments in time.

Backed by none other than Andreas Matheou on guitars, Andreas Antoniou on bass, Kyriakos Costa on keys and Julien Koukides on drums, the upcoming quintet is a force to be reckoned with.

Note: This is a non ticketed (Free for all) event. However as it is first come first serve, the first forty confirmed guests on Facebook are guaranteed seats (Link in Bio to confirm)
