One of my new favorites: The Future Perfect Miami at Villa Paula, a historic neoclassical landmark in Little Haiti that was the former Cuban consulate and private residences.

Built in 1926, the mansions features Cuban-inspired architecture with ornate designs pieces imported directly from the country.

Now, The Future Perfect has transformed the space into site-specific installations from its artists and designers that are thoughtfully integrated into the villa’s original architecture. Long considered one of Miami’s most haunted homes, Villa Paula carries with it a spirit of myth and memory that deepens the resonance of every room.

Penthouse in Plaka, Athens

Located in a building from the 1950s, architecture and interior design firm .alexopoulos transformed the space into a modern dwelling that still honors its history and the ancient crafts of Greece. Curated sculptures from Greek and French artists add dynamism and texture to the experience.

“Apovathra / Power Beach,” the first solo exhibition by Christos Hadjichristou at The Edit Gallery in Cyprus.

The exhibition brings together two photographic series
created along the Limassol coastline: “Apovathra,” a series of portraits of youngsters encountered at
the historic pier, and “Power Beach,” focused on adult athletes training at Dasoudi Beach.

Together, the two series trace a passage from youth to maturity and from stillness to strength.

The exhibition is open through March 13.

Onassis Stegi .stegi in Athens presents “Yorgos Lanthimos: Photographs,” the first major Greek exhibition for the photographer and filmmaker.

The show features 182 still photos that were captured over five years and born from the sets of Lanthimos’ recent films — including New Orleans, Atlanta, and Budapest — and his connection to Greece. Through his photography, especially those from Greece, Lanthimos brings a quiet, meditative eye to focus on the quotidian and mundane, harnessing the medium’s capacity for abstraction and transformation.

“Taking photos has become an important thing in my life other than filmmaking, it is so much freer. It feels like there are fewer rules tied to conventional narrative,” says Lanthimos.

The exhibition is curated by Michael Mack, commissione by Onassis Stegi, and coincides with the launch of Lanthimos’ new photo book “viscin.”

It’s on view from March 7–May 17.

“Agropoetics: Soils/Bodies,” a new group exhibition at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Nicosia, as part of the Cultural Programme of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026.

Curated by Dr Elena Parpa and co-organised by the Deputy Ministry of Culture, the exhibition brings together multidisciplinary works from historical and contemporary artists with precise attention for the Cypriot countryside.

“This exhibition is about our relationship with the Cypriot landscape,” curator Dr Elena Parpa said in an interview in Cyprus Mail. “The land and the place and how this relationship between humans and nature is translated and connected with images, symbols and becomes art.”

The show is up until June 30.

I’ve captured all of the background in my Kalo Mina posts since I started the account. This year, I decided to feature some of the disposables from my last trip to Greece. Here, you’ll see the winding stone walkway leading up to the Agios Nektarios Monastery in Aegina.

Eirini Linardaki’s new mural entitled “I See The Sky From The Other Side” is now on display at 77 Water Street in lower Manhattan.

Eirini’s mural interprets the Lower Manhattan skyline as it shifts throughout the day. It also reflects New York City’s many boroughs, communities, and layered history by showcasing fabrics that Eirini has collected in New York.

“Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to creating art with fabrics and materials I collect from my surroundings, as each material has its own history, story, and owner,” said Eirini Linardaki. “By weaving patterns collected across the city, I aim to reflect the shared history and experiences that unite communities across Lower Manhattan, while paying homage to the iconic skyline.”

This was a collaboration project between the Alliance for Downtown NY (ADNY) and ArtBridge NYC. Photo: Angelina Katsanis/AP Content Services for Alliance for Downtown New York. Together, these groups transform temporary infrastructure into artistic emblems of the local community.

Athens-based artist Ioanna Limniou debuts her first major exhibition in the United States with a solo show at Swivel Gallery , and we got a chance to speak with her about it!

Entitled “Road Trip,” the exhibition trails Limniou’s journey from Evros, her hometown in northern Greece. On her trip, she captures the natural landscape — fields, riverbanks, and border roads — as well as the people who inhabit them — the walkers, workers, families, and friends. Everything is in motion and all of Limniou’s canvases tell stories about her identity, her history, and the place she calls home.

Read our interview with Ioanna at link in bio xx

The exhibition is open until January 17, 2026 at Swivel Gallery (555 Greenwich Street in New York City).
