Στις 16 Μαΐου ολοκληρώθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία η 6η αρχιτεκτονική εκδήλωση της σειράς Material Matters, σε διοργάνωση του ek magazine.

Η εκδήλωση η οποία φιλοξενήθηκε για πρώτη φορά στο Banquet Hall του Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών / Megaron - The Athens Concert Hall και πραγματοποιήθηκε υπό την αιγίδα του EIA Hellenic Institute of Architecture, ήταν αφιερωμένη σε μία οικογένεια υλικών με ιδιαίτερη σημασία για την ελληνική αρχιτεκτονική: Μάρμαρο και Πετρώματα.

Ο συντονισμός έγινε από τους αρχιτέκτονες Αριάδνη Βοζάνη, Καθηγήτρια ΕΜΠ και Διευθύντρια Σύνταξης του ek magazine, και Stavros Martinos, μέλος της Συντακτικής Ομάδας του περιοδικού.

Οι ομιλίες ακολούθησαν ανανεωμένο format, με τους προσκεκλημένους αρχιτέκτονες και designers να παρουσιάζουν δύο δικά τους έργα και ένα άλλου αρχιτέκτονα ή εικαστικού, μέσα από τη δική τους ματιά.

Το αποτέλεσμα δικαίωσε απόλυτα την επιλογή της διοργάνωσης, αποσπώντας ενθουσιώδη σχόλια από κοινό και ομιλητές, καθώς υποστήριξε έναν ζωντανό διάλογο με χαρακτηριστικό του το μέτρο και την ουσιαστική εμβάθυνση στο αντικείμενο.
