Cinema Without Borders: 4-Day Filmmaking Workshop by Adonis Sergiou !! Open to all, from beginners to professionals, students to seasoned filmmakers.
The workshop aims to make filmmaking accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or experience level, by teaching how to create engaging stories in just four days with limited resources at hand.
Emphasizing creativity over budget, participants will learn to turn limitations into strengths, using normal, professional, experimental, and unconventional resources which will all be owned or found by the participants, to produce an original short film. We aim to emphasize the importance of utilizing the strengths of each individual to create something unique.
This workshop is anchored in the belief that storytelling is universal and accessible. It challenges conventional notions of filmmaking by highlighting the power of limitations as a creative tool. We want to have a supportive environment where every participant, irrespective of their skill level, can contribute meaningfully to the filmmaking process.
Finally and most importantly, this workshop aims to be a reminder that filmmaking is never really a mechanical process, it's when a group of people learn to trust each other and together perform miracles.
