Originally from Ecuador, Mateo Jarrín Cuvi lives in Cyprus where he lectures in sociology, philosophy, political science and anthropology. in Foreign Affairs and Latin American Studies from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of California San Diego, having completed research on Protestantism, ethnicity and politics in Ecuador. He has published short fiction in the Cypriot journals Cadences and ARTERI, the University of Malmo's Shipwrights: The Review of Decentered English and Fluster Magazine’s short story anthology Tell Me A Tale. On the side, he blogs about Cyprus and other island wines at www.whineontherocks.com and writes food, wine and travel articles for Cyprus Gourmet and the Financial Mirror. For the past five years, Anna Deliyiannis has been an English and Literature teacher at a private English high school in Nicosia, Cyprus. in International Affairs at Suffolk University and a Masters in Education - TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Boston University. Anna has extensive experience in editing personal statements, dissertations and other written work.
