The media coverage at this year's Cyprus Comic Con will be bigger than ever before.
15 video cameras ranging from FX6s to mirrorless, PTZs, and action/drone.
4K across the board.
6 photographers.
Covering a crowd of over 20K people and multiple events happening simultaneously over 12 hour days.
All footage will be with uncontrolled ambient and practical light sources, day to night, indoor and outdoor, with unpredictable weather and shadows. To manage this enormous incosistency in sensors and conditions, our colour pipeline will be done entirely in ACES and OCIO.
With tens of hours of footage expected, we are also implementing a custom metadata tagging and filtering solution to allow us to quickly create timelines.
A very different challenge to our normal film sets and film DIT, but Cyprus Comic Con is worth it!

Please join us in praying for the safety of all those affected, for the brave firefighters risking everything to control the flames, and for the beautiful island we call home.
God, please save Cyprus and help the people and nature recover from this tragedy.

ABL has always been renowned for bringing the latest in filmmaking techniques and CGI to the advertising world, often being the first to do so in the MENA region. We are proud of this cutting-edge reputation and we are continuing in this tradition by creatively innovating with motion control, hologram, and VR/AR technology.
