✨ Inspired by the recent BGG thread “A Funny Hegemony – Neuroshima Hex Connection”, we’d like to share the origin of the name Hegemony, for those who don't already know.

📖 The term comes from political theory, especially as developed by Antonio Gramsci, who saw hegemony not just as domination, but as a balance of coercion and consent, a social order becomes “common sense” and sustains itself through both state and civil society. That constant struggle of ideas and power is exactly what we wanted to capture in the game.
