My journey abroad.
Before I continue my story about how reality struck in, I will like to crave your indulgences on the fact that I was just one of the few persons that entered here and had a place to stay. So many people here entered empty handed after they have been drained by their agents. Some people entered this island without a penny. No where to sleep, no food to eat. Many times I pass at the square and I see people with their bags, they sleep in the open cold, in the morning the go to the washroom to take shower ( it's normal to have showers/toilets where people cone for normal relaxation) then start moving up and down begging for jobs and what to eat, then in the night they come back at the place to sleep. People that slept at the mall are better, infact na vip sef 😃 because the mall is somehow covered. You will say a fellow African that says he wants to help you, if you are a lady, just know you are going there to start performing wife duty, if you refuse, they will throw you out or demand money per night. If you are a man, they will ask you to pay about for every night you spent there. Where they see money to pay?? They had no choice than sleeping in the streets. Nevertheless, some of us could not help because when looking for a house, the first thing the owner will ask you is how many people will live in the house, If he starts seeing more people, you start having issues with them. Nevertheless, we tried helping 2 ladies, the first one said we didn't show her love 😆, and the second one left without telling me that brought her home, she was scared I was gonna ask her for money before she leaves 😃. Some people even had money but they didn't see house to rent. People really suffers abroad, nobe bon bon. Thank God I jumped this introductory stage sha.
