🚀 We’re excited to be part of the EU-funded THEROS project! 🌍 Together with 16 amazing partners across Europe, THEROS is building an integrated toolbox to improve the verification and prevention of adulterations and non-compliances in organic and geographical indication food supply chains. As Czech partners in the consortium, WIRELESSINFO (WRLS) and ŠUMAVAPRODUKT (SUMAVA) are co-developing the THEROS Marketplace — a digital platform that connects stakeholders, enhances traceability, and supports transparent, sustainable food systems.

💻 You can already explore our Czech marketplace for regional products here: https://trh.regionalnispeciality.cz/ This joint effort combines our technological and real-world experience in digital innovation and organic food production to bring practical, user-focused solutions to the European market.

📣 WIRELESSINFO & Úhlava na GeoAI konferenci 2025 v Praze!

Odborníci měli možnost prozkoumat transformační potenciál umělé inteligence a prostorových dat. Svůj příspěvek zde měli i naši partneři z organizací WirelessInfo a Úhlava o.p.s. - Klatovy.

👏 Radana Šašková a Petr Horák představili ve videu generovaném pomocí AI také projekt Data4Food2030, který ukazuje inovativní přístup k využití datové ekonomiky pro potravinové systémy.
Karel Charvat hovořil o roli GeoAI a ICT v zemědělství, s důrazem na jejich potenciál pro chytřejší a udržitelnější hospodaření. 🌍🚜

📢🚜🌿 Workshop Z farmy k turistovi: propojení farmy s gastronomií a turistikou 🍽️🏞️
V úterý 21.1.2025 měli v Klatovech nejen provozovatelé malých a středních farem možnost vyslechnout řadu referátů k problematice šetrné turistiky a její propagace v regionálním měřítku pomocí moderních informačních technologií. Workshop se uskutečnil v rámci celoevropského mezinárodního výzkumného projektu .

🔹 Jedním z bodů byla prezentace:
📍 "Možnosti využití Atlasu regionálních specialit na Klatovsku pro pilotní řešení projektu Data4Food2030"
👨‍💻 Představili ji Petr Horák (WirelessInfo) & Radana Šašková (Úhlava) a ukázali, jak mohou digitální nástroje podpořit místní potravinové systémy a rozvoj turistiky.

On January 30, 2025, we had the pleasure of presenting VETfarm at Prague Week with GeoAI, highlighting how digital technologies can transform agricultural education in Armenia. 🚀🇦🇲
🌍 What is VETfarm?
VETfarm is tackling the digital skills gap in Armenia’s horticultural sector by improving the integration of IoT, ICT, and Geospatial Technology into Vocational Education and Training (VET). Through capacity-building initiatives, we aim to equip students and farmers with the knowledge to use modern digital tools for smarter, more sustainable farming.
📚 Why is this important?
✅ Supports the next generation of farmers with essential digital competencies
✅ Enhances precision farming through technology-driven insights

🌿 🇨🇿 je projekt zaměřený na demonstraci a integraci digitálních technologií, jako jsou IoT, ICT a geospaciální technologie (Geo-ICT), do pistáciových farem v Arménii. Cílem je zlepšit využívání těchto technologií, vytvořit síť pro výměnu dobrých praxí a analyzovat požadavky na systém VETFarm v pistáciovém sektoru. Součástí projektu je také vytvoření demonstrační farmy, aktualizace Geo-ICT laboratoře, vývoj nových kurzů a školení pro arménské partnery.

🌿 🇬🇧 is a project focused on demonstrating and integrating digital technologies like IoT, ICT, and geospatial technologies (Geo-ICT) in pistachio farms in Armenia. The goal is to improve the use of these technologies, establish a network for exchanging best practices, and analyze system requirements for VETFarm in the pistachio sector. The project also includes establishing a demo farm, updating the Geo-ICT lab, developing new courses, and training Armenian partners.

🛎 Digitální inovace mění venkovské oblasti propojením zemědělství, výroby potravin a turistiky díky chytrému využívání dat! 🎯 Na loňském veletrhu Země živitelka v Českých Budějovicích se projekt Data4Food2030 stal příkladem toho, jak projekty Horizon Europe podporují udržitelnost a ekonomický růst. Jeho význam byl také zdůrazněn v článku Ing. Nady Koníčkové z Technologického centra Praha, který byl publikován ve 4. čísle ECHO magazínu! 🗞️

📍Během veletrhu se naši čeští partneři WirelessInfo a Úhlava o.p.s. - Klatovy podělili o případovou studii Data4Food2030 „𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞“, která ukazuje, jak mohou interdisciplinární data transformovat regionální zemědělské produkty na cenné tržní nabídky a jaké digitální nástroje k tomu byly použity.

At the recent Země živitelka fair in České Budějovice, Data4Food2030 took center stage as a leading example of how Horizon Europe projects drive sustainability and economic growth. Its significance was also highlighted in an article by the scientist Nada Konickova from the Technology Centre Prague, published in the 4th issue of ECHO Magazine! 🗞️

📍During the Země živitelka fair, our Czech partners WirelessInfo and Úhlava showcased the Data4Food2030 case study “𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞”, demonstrating how interdisciplinary data can transform regional agricultural products into valuable market offerings, focusing also on the digital tools used.
