Hello my friends, today I would like to share with you a fun render experiment I did the other day. I based it on one of my older images and decided to test mine, and AI's skills in a little friendly competition.

Sometimes you get to work on projects you don’t expect, but I’m thankful for having participated in an interesting challenge.

This time, I was contacted to create a visualization and animation of a commercial center oriented toward medical and pharmaceutical companies.
The design and a render were previously created by someone else, so I took over a partially developed scene, which I was able to improve using high-quality materials, assets, and thoughtful camera work paired with creative lighting.

This is one rendering I prepared for the client—treat it as a teaser before I post the animation, where I applied the lessons I learned from previous projects in which I dove into motion imagery. I hope you will enjoy it.

I’m glad I got to participate in this project and look forward to more in the future!

🍄 Today, I’ve completed another striking visual and would love to share some thoughts behind it.

Revisiting this scene from the previous project offered the perfect opportunity to craft a quality visual without the need to develop a completely new setting and atmosphere.
This time, I chose to focus on a rarely explored aspect of life in archviz – fungi. The kingdom of mushrooms is incredibly diverse and vibrant, showcasing species that can make us marvel at the richness of life on Earth. While I’m no mycologist and can only guess that these mushrooms aren’t edible, they don’t need to be for us to appreciate them. Their beauty lies in their vibrant red hues, shimmering in daylight after a rainy day, sheltering smaller insects and existing in perfect symbiosis with surrounding plant life.
Did you know that fungi play a vital role in ecosystems through something known as the "Wood Wide Web"? This underground network enables plants to share carbohydrates and sugars with fungi, while fungi reciprocate by supplying phosphorus, nitrogen, and water from the soil. They can even send warning signals about pests and diseases, underscoring their importance in forest ecosystems.

Another captivating example is the cordyceps mushroom, a testament to the strange and mysterious aspects of life. These fungi release spores that, when inhaled by ants or other insects, gradually invade their hosts, alter their behavior, and compel them to climb to high perches. There, the host locks itself in a "death grip" while the fungus consumes its body and sprouts. This "zombie-like" phenomenon has inspired various media, including the popular The Last of Us series.

Mushrooms are fascinating—and a unique way to enrich your visuals. They bring a blend of serene beauty and subtle danger, adding layers of intrigue and realism. After all, it's these little details that make an image feel alive and truly unforgettable.

Galician mist

As part of my latest project, I’ve immersed myself in extensive research, drawing inspiration from my travels through the Galician lands. Collaborating with someone from Galicia was instrumental in helping me achieve an authentic yet modern look for the design featured in this image.

Leveraging MidJourney in my creative process has been a game-changer—it allowed me to focus more on the materials and atmosphere while saving valuable time on camera setup. Reusing the background from the original image was a fantastic way to guide the atmosphere and ensure the perspective was on point. With additional tweaks and attention to composition, I was able to bring the image to life, making it even more engaging to explore.

Moreover, using Substance Designer and Substance Painter was a thrilling experience. These tools are incredibly powerful, and I can't wait to dive deeper into what they have to offer.

This has been an exciting project, and I look forward to expanding this scene further, exploring new perspectives and tools!

Recently, I immersed myself in these serene suburban settings through my rendering process. It's amazing how the tranquility and beauty of these areas can inspire and elevate creative work, pushing you to enhance the level of detail in your renderings.

Personally, I prefer hedges over fences; there's something about vegetation that truly captivates me I I hope to instill those values into my work. 🌿✨

I like coming back to the old projects. This one was made 7 years ago, and all I did was adjust the colours and values in Photoshop and it already looks significantly better. When creating a render there are certain rules you should follow if you want to achieve a captivating image. Composition, color balances, exposure values and texture all play a significant role in achieving the wow effect.

I was much younger when I produced this image, and had to learn all those lessons by trial and error and a lot of work which I thoroughly enjoyed doing. I may still have a long way to go to produce exceptional works, but I have full intention of achieving that one day.

I love my work.

Sometimes it is a time of the year to apreciate the beauty of the winter landscpaes outside of our windows. It is indeed most comfortable way to indulge in the gazing at the snow mounds and flakes falling from the sky and I wanted to capture a very minimal, artsy space with the christmass atmosphere that evokes nostalgia and also serenity.

I did this project in collaboration with whan I joined them, and perhaps in the next christmass I will get the chance to compare my knowledge by creating a new scene with the similar christmass mood.

Sounds like a good idea? It sure does to me.
