Don’t get me wrong I LOVE living in the Czech Republic and it’s infinitely better than living in the USA.🇨🇿🩷

But I wish the article showed more of a diversity of experiences of people who move abroad — most people they don’t have the privilege of retaining an American salary and not needing to learn the local language because all of the people they come in contact with are other expats. So many Americans abroad don’t fit into these stereotypes… we want to learn the local language, integrate into the culture, give back to the community, and build meaningful lives in our new homes.🫶
