Editorial Board Meeting of the Journal Plant Protection Science

On 25 February 2026, the Editorial Board of the journal Plant Protection Science met in person at the Blue Lounge of the House of Agricultural Enlightenment. The meeting was opened by prof. Ing. Aleš Lebeda, DrSc., who welcomed members from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The Board reviewed publishing statistics and key bibliometric indicators. The discussion focused on the journal’s further development, stronger involvement of Board members in upcoming issues, and promotion of the journal at professional events in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Special attention was given to the use of artificial intelligence in editorial processes and manuscript preparation, with emphasis on transparency and publication ethics. The Editor-in-Chief thanked all members for their continued commitment and professional support.
