Rozhovor šéfredaktorky TV Zemědělec Zuzany Fialové s prof. Ing. Radimem Váchou, Ph.D., předsedou Vydavatelské rady ČAZV se uskutečnil dne 22. 9. 2025 na půdě České akademie zemědělských věd (ČAZV) v Domě zemědělské osvěty.

Prof. Vácha představil divákům a posluchačům vydavatelskou činnost ČAZV, jednotlivé vydávané časopisy, jejich historii i cíle do budoucna. Dále zhodnotil vývoj časopisů v posledních letech a informoval o jejich zařazení v databázích Web of Science a Scopus.

CAAS journals presented at the conference "The influence of abiotic and biotic stressors on plant properties"

On September 17, 2025, scientific journals published by the Czech Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) were presented at the international conference "The Influence of Abiotic and Biotic Stressors on Plant Properties 2025". The conference is organized by the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague in cooperation with the Institute of Forest Ecology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Zvolen. This year's edition of this traditional conference takes place from September 17 to 18, 2025, at the library of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The main focus of this year's edition is "Plant responses to current biotic and abiotic stress and the possibility of their elimination."

The main focus was on journals focused on plant production: Czech Journal of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant, Soil and Environment, Horticultural Science, Plant Protection Science, and Journal of Forest Science.

The Czech Academy of Agricultural Sciences would like to thank František Hnilička, Ph.D., member of the editorial board of Horticultural Science, for presenting the journals to the participants of this international conference and for promoting the journals in the conference proceedings.

Editorial Board Meeting – Czech Journal of Genetics and Plant Breeding – September 3h, 2025

On September 3, 2025, a meeting of the Editorial Board of the Czech Journal of Genetics and Plant Breeding was held under the leadership of Editor Assoc. Prof. Tomáš Vyhnánek. This time, the meeting took place in Šumperk at the company AGRITEC, Ltd. Before the meeting began, Dr. Prokop Šmirous, the company's managing director, gave a brief presentation of AGRITEC. During the Editorial Board meeting, the current situation of the journal and possibilities for its further development, the development of its impact factor, and the publication strategy for the upcoming period were discussed. Personnel changes within the Editorial Board were also addressed. The meeting concluded with a tour of the AGRITEC laboratories and an excursion to the field trials. At the end of the meeting, the Editor thanked the Editorial Board Members for their cooperation and support of the journal and also the host of the meeting, Dr. Griga.
