BNCexpress Independent Drum & Bass label based in Prague BNCexpress is an independent drum & bass label based in Italy.

It was set up by DJ Promenade but input comes from a large variety of producers intent on pushing the concept as far as possible. The participation of so many people from so many different musical backgrounds gives the project a fresh sound and a diverse outlook towards making music. The first release will have a liquid funk vibe, but future ones will range from jump up and ragga jungle to neurofu

nk. BNCexpress is also about providing a means for upcoming artists to express themselves freely and develop their passion and sounds - all the artists involved share the common view that paying too much attention to sub-genres is unproductive and musically limiting.

After the strong response to Ballads 5, noted for its refined production, restrained atmosphere, and consistent sonic identity, Promenade returns with a new EP featuring updated versions of Hyperlove and Do Si Dos. Both tracks, originally included in the Ballads series, are presented here in new versions that sharpen their dynamics and enhance their club functionality while maintaining the emotional core of the originals. The EP also includes Lost and Found, a new original track that expands the Ballads aesthetic with a more direct rhythmic structure and a focused melodic development, bridging the project’s introspective tone with a clearer floor-oriented intent.

This tune stands apart from his previous productions and from the other tracks in the label’s catalogue. We can’t quite categorize it—and perhaps that’s exactly what makes it special: hypnotic like the song of the sirens, mystical in its compositional choices, and dreamlike in its sound design.
