A few days ago issue 177 of the Amiga Future was published.

For anyone who overlooked its release date, maybe now would be a good time to order the magazine, before we run out of printed copies, as there's only a limited number available.

Or maybe you would prefer to take up an annual subscription ... straight away? Then you will always get the latest issue automatically delivered to your home, and there won't be any need to check up on the publication dates of individual issues. Dr. Dangerous – Die Box-Version des beliebten Action-Spiels ist da

Wir freuen uns, die Veröffentlichung der physischen Box-Version von Dr. Dangerous – Secrets of the Temple of Xol'Tan bekannt zu geben! Das beliebte Action-Spiel für den Amiga erscheint nun als hochwertige Sammler-Edition mit zahlreichen Neuerungen und Verbesserungen, die sowohl Retro-Fans als auch neue Spieler begeistern werden.

Die überarbeitete Version der Disketten-Edition bietet unter anderem neue Schwierigkeitsgrade – Easy, Medium und Hard – die mit angepassten Spielmechaniken für mehr Abwechslung sorgen. So lassen sich im Easy-Modus erstmals Checkpoints jederzeit setzen, was das Spiel zugänglicher und komfortabler macht. Gleichzeitig bleibt der klassische Reiz für Profis im Hard-Modus voll erhalten.

Vier brandneue Level erweitern das Abenteuer und sorgen für zusätzlichen Spielspaß. Auch die Musik wurde überarbeitet: Kein Geringerer als Barry Leitch (u. a. bekannt durch Lotus Turbo Challenge) und ZEKAVEO, der sich bereits mit dem Soundtrack zum Android-Spiel The Mystical Quest einen Namen gemacht hat, zeichnen für die neue Klangkulisse verantwortlich und verleihen dem Spiel eine dichte, atmosphärische Soundkulisse.

Visuell wurden kleinere Anpassungen vorgenommen, um bestimmte Abschnitte noch stimmiger zu gestalten, und auch die Ladezeiten wurden deutlich verbessert.

Ein weiteres Highlight ist die mehrsprachige Lokalisierung: Neben Englisch ist das Spiel jetzt auch auf Deutsch, Französisch und Spanisch verfügbar.

Die Box-Version wartet darüber hinaus mit einem neuen Titelbildschirm, einer gedruckten Anleitung im Retro-Stil sowie weiteren liebevollen Details auf, die die physische Veröffentlichung zu einem besonderen Erlebnis machen.

We are pleased to announce the release of the physical boxed version of Dr. Dangerous – Secrets of the Temple of Xol'Tan! The popular action game for the Amiga is now available as a high-quality collector's edition with numerous new features and improvements that will delight both retro fans and new players.

The revised version of the floppy disk edition offers, among other things, new difficulty levels – Easy, Medium, and Hard – with adapted game mechanics for more variety. For the first time, checkpoints can be set at any time in Easy mode, making the game more accessible and convenient. At the same time, the classic appeal for pros is fully preserved in Hard mode.

Four brand-new levels expand the adventure and provide additional fun. The music has also been reworked: none other than Barry Leitch (known for his work on Lotus Turbo Challenge, among others) and ZEKAVEO, who already made a name for himself with the soundtrack to the Android game The Mystical Quest, are responsible for the new soundscape, giving the game a dense, atmospheric soundscape.

Minor visual adjustments have been made to make certain sections more coherent, and loading times have also been significantly improved.

Another highlight is the multilingual localization: In addition to English, the game is now also available in German, French, and Spanish.

The boxed version also features a new title screen, a retro-style printed manual, and other thoughtful details that make the physical release a special experience.
