The "Red Pig" Reimagined
Ever wonder what happens to the wildest ideas in the Mercedes design studio? Former design boss .Wagener revealed a "hidden gem" that never made it past the rendering stage: a modern homage to the legendary "Rote Sau" (Red Pig).

The Backstory 🏁
The original 1971 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 AMG was an unlikely racing icon. Massive, bright red, and surprisingly fast, it took 2nd place at the 24 Hours of Spa and officially put AMG on the map.

The Concept ✨
This digital tribute captures that same "brawny" energy with a massive chrome grille & bold circular LEDs, muscular, wide-shouldered bodywork and
a stance that screams performance over "bean counter" logic.

While it won’t be hitting the asphalt anytime soon, it’s a stunning look at what happens when heritage meets modern aggression.

In Germany—where it has been 140 years since Carl Benz’s invention of the automobile in 1886—and so we thought it is time to check out the new S-Class.

It is true that we have seen some unbelievable luxury sedans recently introduced by Chinese manufacturers (who would have thought we would be writing that just a few years ago?), but there is something German manufacturers do that still sets them apart. Let’s call it sophisticated luxury. It is hard to describe, but you can feel it; it speaks to all the senses. Perhaps that is why we are tempted to agree with calling it an ultimate icon.
