I wanted to paint something that feels like my two worlds meeting in one picture - a microscope surrounded by tiny wildflowers.

A little watercolor piece inspired by my everyday world of microscopes, samples and tiny things - just with considerably more flowers. 🌸🎨

“Today I’m just going to relax and do nothing.”

Also me, 2 hours later: painting tiny lavender flowers like there’s an important botanical deadline tomorrow. 😂🌿💜

A little Sunday watercolor therapy — 10 × 7 cm of tiny flowers and absolutely no reason to be this invested. 🎨

And because I’m always a fan of personalised things: you get to decide what goes in the little space on the card. A name, a short message, a little quote… whatever makes it yours. 💌

Heute mal etwas, das meinem Arbeitsalltag ein bisschen näher kommt.
Blood sample tubes — but make it watercolor. 😉

🌼 Tips on Painting Wild Daisies

1. Protect Your Whites 🤍
Those bright white petals? Save them first with masking fluid! It might feel like an extra step, but it's the secret to keeping your daisies crisp and glowing.

2. Paint the Dreamy Background 🎨
Now comes the fun part. Flood the paper with loose greens and warm golden tones. Let the colors mingle, bloom, and do their watercolor magic.

3. Reveal the Magic ✨
Once everything is completely dry, rub off the masking fluid and watch your flowers appear! Add soft golden centers and a few wispy stems to bring the meadow to life.

4. Let Go of Perfect 🌿
Wild daisies aren't perfectly shaped—and yours don't have to be either. The little imperfections are what make them feel alive, breezy, and full of charm.
🌼 The best wildflower fields are never perfectly organized... so why should your painting be?
