We're in town with filmmaker Ingo Schmoll, who is currently working on a documentary about analog photography.
Tomorrow (Sunday, May 31), we'll be gathering at the bottom of Angels Flight at 3 PM for an informal meet-up. No agenda, no presentations—just photographers, camera enthusiasts, and good conversation.

A few snapshots from an amazing weekend at the Leica Experience Days in Wetzlar.

We had such a great time at the SilvergrainClassics stand, meeting photographers, talking film, scanning negatives, and connecting with so many passionate people from across the analog world. Events like this really show how alive and international the analog community still is.

Charys also spent the weekend interviewing exhibitors and Leica representatives, so there’s much more to come very soon. Huge thanks to Leica for inviting us and organizing such a special event.
And congratulations to the winner of the Leica photo contest, who won a SilvergrainClassics Academy workshop!

Latest news from WideluxX: working prototypes have now entered field testing, producing finished photographs in real-world use and showing the distinctive motion and character that made the original Widelux so special.
Preparations for the first production run are now underway.

A while ago, during field testing of the WideluxX prototype, we also found time for a lighter moment. While putting the camera through its paces and making a series of images, we staged a small homage to the iconic Abbey Road cover by The Beatles.
The best reaction came from a passing cyclist at the zebra crossing, who slowed down and asked: “Are you making photos for the new Beatles?”
Prototype testing is serious work—but there should always be room for a sense of humor along the way. Soon, more.
