Ein neuer Release ist gerade in der Umsetzung und die WAV-Dateien sind bereits im Presswerk. Dieser Release ist der Beginn von etwas „Neuem“.
Schon lange keimt in mir ein Gedanke, eine kleine Vinyl-Reihe zu starten. Schon ein laufender EAR-Release, aber trotzdem etwas anders.
Verschiedene Ideen schwirrten in meinem Kopf. Nun, final wird es unter dem Motto KOMPRIMIERTE KUNST eine SEVENinchBEATS Serie geben:

Die Grundidee ist immer eine 7“ mit jeweils maximal 8 Minuten Spielzeit pro Seite, auf 100 Stück limitiert, darauf Instrumentals von Producern, die ich mag. Deren Beats ich feiere – im Grunde erfinde ich das Rad natürlich nicht neu, vor über 10 Jahren wurde der Markt mit Instrumental-Platten geflutet und jeder, der Beats bauen konnte, haute die auf Vinyl raus. Aber ich mach das trotzdem, weil ich Lust dazu habe.
Als besonderes Gimmick möchte ich die Kunst der Musik mit Kunst in Bildform kombinieren, so das ein weiteres Augenmerk auch auf das äußere der kleinen Schallplatte fällt.
Den Anfang macht ein sehr geschätzter Produzent und langjähriger Freund, NASHER, vielen ja bekannt als Partner von DESTO, Bayreuth's finest.
Ich wählte meine Favoriten aus den 20 Instrumentals, die bereits seit 2020 auf Bandcamp frei verfühgbar sind, aus. Komprimiert auf Vinyl, zusammen mit Kunst.
Der Album Titel bleibt auf Wunsch von Nasher gleich: VALDEMEMBRA – ist übrigens ein kleiner Fluß in Spanien . Der Legende nach, erschien dieses digitale Projekt nur mit der Voraussetzung, das Desto jeden Track einen Namen geben musste.
Das neu gewählte Cover ist ein Bild von JUAN BRUFAL (geboren 1973), ein argentinischer Digitalkünstler, der auf Mallorca lebt. Per Zufall bin ich auf seine Werke gestoßen.

Zusätzlich zum Vinyl wird es zwei T-Shirts geben – um besser zu planen, wollte ich daher um eine Vorbestellung bis zum 20.Juli 2026 bitten.
Wer ein Shirt möchte, bitte eine Nachricht mit gewünschter Größe.
Es werden GILDAN Ultra Cotton Shirts sein.
SEVENinchBEATS gibt es in weiß oder Grau. Der Aufdruck wird Schwarz.

Das COVER-ARTWORK gibt es nur als weißes Shirt.

Verfügbare Größen sind S / M / L / XL / XXL und ###L – die T-Shirts werden 24 Euro kosten.

Am Samstag, den 6.Juni ist in Fichtelberg eine Schallplattenbörse, an der ich mit teilnehme. Verkauft werden Restbestände aus dem coast2coast Plattenladen.
Vinyl: Hip Hop, Instrumentals, Soul, Funk, Pop und Rock / Neuware und 2nd Hand, sowie ein paar Tapes und CDs.

The Tribe Akashic is an Atlanta based collective consisting of 9 young artists, who’s vast individual influences help cultivate a unified sound of it’s own. With members originally from New York, Michigan, Ohio, Italy & Georgia; The Tribe’s musical layers consist of everything from Hip-Hop to House as well as Soul, and Soul Calypso. Over time, Tribe has built a synergy that many may consider rare to come by in today’s age.
The members are: RBT JNS, Sunni Velour, Hxrú, Caine Falco, Sir Plata, TAE, EnKore Beats, Ursa Major, Master Wendu

As with many releases before, I stumbled across this group on YouTube and was immediately hooked. There were three videos. After some research, I managed to get in touch, and the crew agreed to a vinyl release—I was very Happy. Based on this, they produced more songs, and after a short wait, they sent me the files and photos for the cover, which I also thought was absolutely fantastic. I think there are far too many atypical album covers these days that don't reflect the hip-hop style.
The only slight discrepancy was with the lettering, but I was able to get a "Hype Sticker" placed on the front.
Even today I am incredibly proud of this release, which also received a lot of positive feedback and sold very well internationally.
Unfortunately, I lost contact with them, and I think the group no longer exists in that form.

In my opinion, a future classic.

In retrospect, my only regret is not giving this record a proper cover – it was an attempt with stickers that unfortunately doesn't do the album justice. Sorry.
