A little look back at last week’s Campus Gathering!

Herbal smoothie tasters from Soil Social Club , sustainable catering and pizza from Vfnuk, drinks from CHNO Café , alongside Human Bingo and the mapping of our campus ecosystem.

This World Photography Day, we’re celebrating our tenants Q***r Analog Darkroom 📸

Q***r Analog Darkroom is a collectively organised space built around analogue photography, skill sharing and mutual learning. Through sharing resources, knowledge and experience, the collective explores how a darkroom can become much more than a place to develop photographs - it can become a space for togetherness, experimentation and challenging barriers to creative practice.

Keep an eye out for their upcoming workshops, events or just the incredible perspectives captured and shared through their lenses 🖤

As part of Berlin Fashion Week, Atelier Gardens became the setting for PLATTE × LETTE - a presentation where fashion unfolded in dialogue with landscape.

Following winding garden paths through summer greenery, guests experienced the latest collections by nine students and graduates from the Lette Verein Berlin Modedesign 2025/2026 cohort.

Our site became an immersive runway, where contemporary fashion, costume design and the natural environment met through craftsmanship, experimentation and performative expression.

Moments like these reflect what we love about our campus: seeing creative disciplines intersect in unexpected ways and watching shared spaces become platforms for new ideas.

Congratulations to all of the designers and collaborators who brought this presentation to life.

What began as a rooftop pavilion and a blooming garden was transformed on Sunday through the care, creativity, and dedication of many hands.

A huge thank you Refuge Worldwide , the artists, photographers, technicians, volunteers, food vendors, and everyone behind the scenes who helped bring this day to life.

Atelier Gardens has always been interested in the question of how space shapes interactions and connection. Fête de la Musique became a beautiful reminder that when people come together with intention, something greater than the sum of its parts can emerge.

Thank you to everyone who helped build, carry, wire, cook, coordinate, perform, and care for this day - and to all of you who showed up, danced, listened, lingered, and made it what it was.

This week we’re reminiscing on .ber ✨

A year ago, our campus was brought to life through an incredible week of carefully curated non-fiction storytelling — from documentary screenings, photo exhibitions and autobiographical reading groups to panel discussions, live podcasts, and intimate conversations unfolding across the site.

One particularly memorable moment was “Glanz & Widerstand” by .company — a powerful performance situated between ballet, research, and documentary, which moved audiences and performers through our spaces in unexpected and immersive ways.

What made Doxumentale feel so special was not only the programme itself, but the atmosphere it created: filmmakers, journalists, artists, academics and visitors gathering together to reflect on the stories, tensions, and realities shaping our world.

This year’s festival continues across cinemas and cultural venues throughout Berlin until June 7th. Join us in the garden with and for a special programme featuring selected films brought to you by DoXumentale.

On World Bee Day, many people think of honey 🍯
At Atelier Gardens, we tend to think about how nature can once again become a visible part of everyday urban life.

Not only in forests or parks, but on rooftops, company grounds, in courtyards and shared urban spaces 🌱

That’s why we’re so happy that Stadtbienen are part of our community.

Their work creates more than habitats for bees - it creates new connections:
between city and nature,
between people,
between learning and experiencing.

If you’d like to learn more about urban beekeeping, biodiversity, or how to actively support pollinators in the city, we highly recommend exploring the workshops and initiatives by 🐝🌼
