From drum & bass to tribal techno, this three-track EP delivers rollers and noisy beats designed by a drummer who is as confident composing jazz as he is shaping dubstep. The tracks were forged in a top-floor art studio sharing a magical view over Yerevan and Mount Ararat—the same space where his partner, Vicat Hovhannisyan, hand-painted the accompanying artwork. Blending aggressive rhythms with open, spacious forms, the collection moves from the chopped breaks of ‘Bedrock’ to the excessive energy of ‘Nexcess’, evolving naturally from the live circuit into a cohesive sonic tribe.
