Tribak proudly presents a new release in our Tanzino series a hard hitting floor banger remix EP for a Neta Elkayam, a Moroccan-Jewish singer from New Orleans.

She comes from a Moroccan Jewish family. Her father is from Tinghir , her mother is from Casablanca. Her parents immigrated to Israel . She was born in 1980 in the city of Netivot , a city that has gathered a large community of Jews of Moroccan origin .

Hak a Mama, originally recorded in 1934 performed by the legendary Zohra Al Fassiya, is a Moroccan classic that tells the tale of forbidden love between a Muslim and a Jew.

Now, this timeless track gets a fresh twist with two club high-energy remixes that fuse tradition with contemporary sounds a true diaspora sound!

We are super exited to release Lost & Found by DJ Yayehe, a beat tape of unreleased material recently by a Jerusalem underground legend.

He was a DJ, a part of electronic projects such as Gaza, and a soundtracks composer. He was active for a short period and sadly passed away in 2021. We decided to release all his musical work with new mastering, and a new cover.

His sound is a a hybrid of sample based grooves, melted into warm beats and dirty textures. This tracks was found as a CD that he gave as a gift to one of the friends of the label. We believe those are sketches and couple of projects from his legendary MPC.

Tribak are proud to present an EP from Berlin based producer Tropikal Camel.

With over 20 year experience under his belt, reviews in The Guardian, The Wire, XLR8R, and performances at Fusion Festival, NyegeNyege, and LesTans Musicals, he's known for his original brand of hypnotic percussion, heavy bass, and captivating polyrhythms.

His latest album "Nijerusalem", together with the synth legend from Niger, Mamman Sani, has received positive reviews from Le Monde, Liberation and many other platforms.

"Qumagu" blends trancy pads and ecstatic rhythms, melting sounds from North Africa with the rhythm of the South African bass genre Gqom, resulting in three tracks, each a mutant of the original idea, in different forms.

The tension-driven composition creates a cinematic setting, but the melodies are bright, with a delicate balance between meditative moments and those of an earthquake, creating a unique balance that has depth and character.

Floors by Joselito, was originally released in 2006 as a limited CD-R on the Agit Pop label. The album seamlessly blends Arabic rhythms with haunting vocals and atmospheric soundscapes.

Its creation was sparked when Joselito came across a field recording of Yemeni Jewish chants, an experience that deeply influenced his music, driving him to meld ancient traditions with his experimental approach to sound.

As a multidisciplinary artist, Joselito has ventured into numerous creative realms, including visual art, books, and video, always pushing against the boundaries of convention. His work is a reflection of his unique perspective, creating an immersive world all his own, free from the constraints of any particular format.

We super exited for our new release by a new producer in our fam ! a veteran DJ and producer from Berlin who has played at the city's spiciest events and clubs such as Staub, the late Griessmuehle, About Blank to name a few. In the last few years he has started producing tracks under his own label "Candy Kingdom Synth Orchestra".

Diwan is a sonic adventure, dramatic synths, rolling bass lines, pounding drums, and metallic zaps. It is named after three legendary bars in his hometown of West Jerusalem, the place where Keller first began DJing, those places that were a small utopia in the midst of a city in conflict.

We’re excited to announce our second release in our reissue series: Playback by Gaza, originally released on Fact Records in 2002.

Gaza, formed in 1997 by Alon Ovnat and Yayehe S. Mehari, emerged from the vibrant Electronic Front Collective. Their unique sound blends hip-hop, dub, IDM, and electro, creating a captivating fusion that stands out in the electronic music scene.

Playback, first released by Israel's pioneering DIY label Fact Records, was crafted at a time when electronic music thrived in living rooms. The album showcases a dynamic range of tracks, from the energetic "Speedy Jam" to the glitchy "Plastic Ticks," the groovy "Visetor," and the uplifting "U&I."

This reissue is a tribute to DJ Yayehe, who sadly passed away in 2021. We are dedicated to preserving his legacy by reissuing all his works, including unreleased material.
