RABBIT ACADEMY Books at Leipziger Buchmesse!
The Series follows the chaotic yet cool city rabbits Max, Kela, and Chester on their turbulent adventures through a magical world, where friendship, courage, diversity, and self-confidence are at the heart of the story. Published by Thienemann-Esslinger, Andreas Völlinger has created two lovingly written books, now available in the German speaking market.

Both books – “Rabbit Academy – Band 1 – Keine Lehrer, keine Probleme und andere Geschichten” and “Rabbit Academy – Band 2 – Die Talentshow und andere Geschichten” – include three episodes from the TV series. The charming stories are complemented by original images.

A heartfelt thank you to Andreas Völlinger, who also supported the series as a Creative Producer, and to publisher Thienemann-Esslinger, where our little rabbits feel right at home!

A special treat for our international rabbit fans – until the series hops over to your country, sit back and enjoy!

Available now: German Audio adventures from the TV series RABBIT ACADEMY!

While excitement grows for the German TV-premiere of RABBIT ACADEMY on KiKA on March 27th, there’s already something fun to listen to! In collaboration with LEONINE, the German audio adventures based on the series are now available.

Every Friday, two new episodes will be released on your favorite audio platforms – perfect for diving into the world of the magical Academy, even before the TV premiere.

And the wait for the show itself won’t be long: The first ten episodes of the 52-part animated series in German will be available starting March 20th on kika.de and in the KiKA app, with more episodes being added weekly.

So, get ready to tune in and join the fun at Rabbit Academy!

Get ready to be enchanted by our chaotic rabbit kids from RABBIT ACADEMY with daily broadcasts starting March 27, 2026, at 6 p.m. on KiKA and on KiKA Player! In 52 x 11minute episodes, you can accompany city rabbits Max, Kela, and Chester on their adventures in a magical boarding school deep in the forest. These action-packed and emotional stories were created in co-production with SERU Animation, 2 Minutes (France) and FormArt (Hungary), and in collaboration with SWR, KiKA, NDR and HR. The series was directed by Emilie Rimetz and produced by Akkord Film. It is inspired by the classic German children’s book by Albert Sixtus and Fritz Koch-Gotha, and the highly successful 3D-animated films RABBIT SCHOOL – GUARDIANS OF THE GOLDEN EGG and RABBIT ACADEMY – MISSION EGGPOSSIBLE.
The series RABBIT ACADEMY expands this universe with a fresh perspective: inspired by the films but faster, cooler, and in cartoonish 2D. We can‘t wait for the world to watch our show!

Rabbits sighted on the Côte d’Azur!!
Business insiders discovered rabbits from our upcoming series RABBIT ACADEMY during in Cannes! Eyewitnesses sighted them during the world’s biggest entertainment trade fair at the stand of international distributor Global Constellation from where they’re expected to hop onto screens worldwide. We’re excited about the strong presence!
