V / Australian/British solo musician V returns to Berlin with their reverb drenched and visceral fusion of post-punk, darkwave, noise and electronic music. Forged in the underground of Berlin in the 2010s and later refined through the DIY scenes in Australia, V’s performances shift between stark intimacy and overwhelming intensity. Described as possessing a mesmerisingly undefinable sound and a bleakness blended with glittering, danceable beats, V is currently completing their fifth studio album in isolation in the French countryside.

GELBART / Experimental pop, Berlin, 2005–present. 20+ records, two short films, one sci-fi novel, and roughly 500 bunnies. Gelbart’s shows combine synths, guitar, bass clarinet, vocoder, and self-built blipping machines, all handled at once by one person, with visuals synced on top. Absurd, DIY, and weirdly consistent: a mirror-universe where high-brow and low-brow clash and something like pop comes out.

formed in 1979 as punk and new wave swept away the 70s, and disbanded in 1986 when the 80s became a little too much like the 80s. Their classic Su***de Commando later inspired the name of the Belgian industrial band, was remixed by DJ Hell for the Love Parade, covered by Vitalic, and became a cult anthem in the 90s train graffiti scene. In 2008 Tina Sanudakura and Andy Schwarz returned as a duo — not denying their past, but fully present in the here and now. Blending post-punk, pop and electronica, NO MORE continue to perform across Europe. Their 2022 album Kissin’ In The Blue Dark was praised by Rolling Stone France for its “rare richness”.

UZIMOTO

has been collecting fragments of sound for nearly a decade — some kept in his head, others sung like mantras or recorded after bike rides across Berlin.
Formerly part of EGONX, Tanning Bats and Skeleton Glove, emerging from restless DIY punk circles that never stayed still for long, his roots gradually formed this boundary-free solo persona. His music blends post-punk, new wave and dub with analog synths, drum machines, tribal percussion and self-recorded sounds. Songs are cued on samplers and Casio keyboards at his fingertips — honest pieces of his own world. 2026 marks the release of a long-held creative bottleneck for Uzimoto: his first two singles in his mother tongue, offering the first glimpse into his upcoming debut album.

We listened to one after another, each filled with incredible melodies, beats and lyrics about genuine love, pain and hate.
With no time for showers, teeth-brushing or keeping a tidy room, V is one of the most productive musicians I’ve ever met.”

Despite being Hellbent on becoming the popstar that they are, V (perhaps to our good-fortune) was coerced into the punk domain. V’s music is dark, raw and uncomplicated. In 2012, V collaborated with Adrienne Teicher (Tusk, HYENAZ) and together they transformed V’s early demos into an ornate electronic, goth and darkwave infused production, with added beats and radiant arrangements.

Our Berlin-based foundation - Le Petit Signal - is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of V’s demos with a baby blue cover, the third in a undeclared series of primary color pressings. LPS is honored to release this honest, pure, festive and minimal triumph from our dear friend and adored artist V, which we have entitled ‘No Return.’
